"Natasha, do you know where Yelena is?" I asked. "No I don't." She turned to me, "Oliver again?"

Natasha and Yelena where the only two I confided in about my problems. I nodded and sniffed. "Even though he was abusive, I feel sad about our break up." "Thats pretty normal, y/n. He was a big part of you." Natasha held my hand and gave me a smile reserved for me only. "I think he was Bipolar." I sighed, "This morning, he was sweet and loving, but ten minutes after that, he was beating on me for no reason."

"Y/n, you got out of a dangerous relationship, that's all that matters right now." She replied.

"Has Steve ever shown affection to you?" I asked. "Y/n, why do you ask that?" "Because I think he has a thing for me." "Steve is a lot of things, but he isn't a liar, so just ask him straight out about it. I did."

"What?" I asked. "Yeah I thought Steve had a thing for me so I asked him straight out. He said he used to, but not then. He will tell you."

I smiled, "Thanks Nat."

                                                                                         ********

"Hey Steve, can I talk to you?" I blushed. I walked into Steves room.My stomach was full of butterflies. "Sure, Y/n, what's up?" "I wanted to ask you if, um, if you had a thing for me?" I bit my lip.

"A thing?" He was confused. "Yeah, like do you have a crush on me?" "Oh. Y/n, I can't lie to you. You're absolutely gorgeous even if you're just wearing your pajamas. I do like you, even though I know very little about you. And honestly, before I met you, I was regretting my choice to land the ship in the water, but now I'm so glad I did because I got to meet you. I'm glad I got the Super Soldger Serum that made me this way."

Super Soldger Serum. That phrase. I stood in shock. I remember something. "I'm sorry, that poetic bit probably surprised you." He looked embarrassed.

"Oh no, I just thought of something." I shook my head as if to clear it, "First of all, that really wasn't that poetic, but it was sweet. Second, I'm glad you said that, because all this time, me being rude to you was a protective barrier I guess because I liked you, but didn't want to let it show."

"My bossiness was the same, wanting to keep you safe at a distance." He looked down.

I smiled and step towards him. "I think it's sweet." He looked me in the eye. "Your eyes are so pretty." He whispered.

I giggled, "Thank you." I bit my lip. I had a feeling. Steve stepped closer to me and  placed his hands on my waist. The buttterflies flew harder in my stomach. I was nervously excited. I wrapped my arms around his neck and stood there, waiting for Steve to decide what he wanted.

He kissed me sliding his arms up and down my sides. I was filled with warmth inside. I stepped back and smiled, "Your eyes are gorgeous too." I said. He laughed and stayed in that position.

"I want to keep this a secret for a while Steve." I said, "I don't want people to think I just jump from relationship to relationship." He nodded and kissed me again. "You better go. Bucky is supposed to meet me here anytime now."

I whined, "I don't wanna go." he smiled and gave me one last kiss before opening the door for me.  I walked out and walked into my room. Even though I was giddy from what happened with Steve, something was nagging on me.

Super Soldger Serum. My mother.

'Mummy, no! I don't want to go back there. I don't like the needles you have.' I cried.

'Y/n, youll do what I say. We need someone to test this on and you're the only one who isnt needed for these experiments.' my mother drug me along.

She strapped me into a chair as I sobbed. 'Ready 50cc of Super Soldger Serum redo.'  She called out to one of them. They handed her a syringe with a blue- green liquid into it and her stuck it into my arm. I screamed and  wriggled. She stuck it into my other arm and pushed about a third of the liquid into me, then injected the last of it into my stomach. I sobbed.

I was nothing more than a tool to her. Bruce took after her, trying to recreate the Serum. Steve and I weren't too different. Both of us were experiments.
