The Watcher || Xavier Thorpe (DISCONTINUED)

After the incident in the quad, Chloe returned to her dorm. On the way, she realized that she should have never trusted such an important task to such a stupid boy.  She has to be more careful around Xavier now, lest he figures out that she likes him... 

Chloe's eyes widened as she paused in the middle of the empty hallway and let out a shaky breath.

"oh my Hellfire... I think I like him..." 

Chloe ran all the way back to her room in Ophelia Hall and slammed the door shut, leaning against it. Chloe covered her mouth and squatted down, her knees weak from the sudden discovery. She had never been in love before, the only people she came into contact with was her father and those who work under him. Her father was the King of the Underworld, which also made him the original outcast, casted out from Olympus, by his own brothers.

Chloe was birthed from her father's ear, prophesied to become the leader of his kind, the outcasts of both worlds, which explained why she was born a demigod and not a full god.

Her father had been busy preparing for her journey to the mortal world, that he forgot to explain to her how mortal emotions work and that they are exactly like the emotions of gods. Chloe imagined that mortal emotions were nothing like the gods', taking into account how her father stole Persephone from the mortal lands because he loved her so much. 

"I'm so stupid. I can't believe I was doing it wrong this whole time! What is Xavier going to think of me?" Chloe had to figure out how mortals dealt with their emotions of love, because so far, she was acting like her father did. 

After brain storming and stress eating (she keeps snacks from Hell under her bed ~courtesy of Gluttony), Chloe decide to continue with her previous plan, stalking him, then inserting herself into his life. She noticed it was now midnight, so she lied down in her white silk sheets and fell asleep, the only thing on her mind was the handsome boy who would soon be hers.

However, what she didn't realize was that Xavier was watching her, when she ran, during classes, in the quad, almost everywhere. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend, Bianca, under the guise of Bianca being manipulative because he had fallen in love with the young demigoddess.

this is not edited. here's a short little chapter 4 u. seems like chloe caught xavier's eye👀 and everyone at nevermore is gonna be afraid of chloe now. but imagine how they'lll feel once they find out how naïve chloe actually is (cuz she only hung out with her dad). and yes she literally came out of his ear one day. 

i promise i'll try to get to the part with more interaction between Xavier and Chloe soon! i might update later in the day too. THX 💋
