A/n Thanks for waiting! I hope you all had a Happy Holidays. I still have a week until my school starts back up and I just got a new job, so I'll be stress-free-ish for a couple more days, hopefully. Netflix show recommendation: Alice in Borderland. (I just finished the second season and I loved it! I really hope they make a third season!) THANK YOU FOR 10K READS!

Chloe was half-way through her tea when Wednesday came and sat down across from her, placing her coffee on the shared table. Chloe snickered, placing her tea down, and observing the gothic girl.

Wednesday stared into Chloe's eyes and asked, "Why are you staying here? At Nevermore, I mean. You can leave, you have the power to."

Chloe smiled, "From my few weeks of staying here, I discovered that the outcasts of Nevermore are truly pitiful creatures." She let out a depressing laugh and continued, "My father thought of the mortal outcasts one day, and I was born. You tell me, when your whole reason for existence stands on the shoulders of weak mortals. Would you let them die? Or would you protect them from their impending doom? So, don't ask me to help get you out of Nevermore because I won't be able to protect you if you leave." Chloe end the conversation very seriously, three boys in pilgrim costumes caught her attention as the walked passed the window and into the shop.

The boys entered the café and stopped in front of the girls' booth.

"What's a Nevermore freak doing out in the wild?" The tall white pilgrim boy questioned Wednesday.

Wednesday and Chloe both side-eyed their outfits. Chloe brought her tea to her lips as she smirked. This is going to be fun.

"This is our booth." The chubby pilgrim said.

Wednesday spoke her mind, "Why are you dressed like religious fanatics?"

"We're pilgrims." The tall one stated.

"Potato, po-tah-to." Wednesday commented, looking into the only black pilgrim's eyes.

The chubby boy ignored his friends as he attempted to undress Chloe with his eyes. His gaze was cut off by Chloe's deadly eyes and he immediately adverted his eyes and squeezed his legs together, making sure he wouldn't urinate from the fear.

The black kid pulled a flier off of the table in front of Chloe and stared back at Wednesday. "We work at Pilgrim World." He flipped the flier over and slid it to Wednesday.

She looked intrigued as she brought the flier closer. "It takes a special kind of stupid to devote an entire theme park to zealots responsible for mass genocide. "

The black boy looked offended as he stated, "My dad owns Pilgrim World. Who you calling stupid?"

Chloe choked on her salvia as a result of her surprised laugh. She coughed and giggled as her hand came to her mouth, hiding her wide smile. The rest of the crowd watched her with curiosity. "Oh, the irony!" She giggled again.

Wednesday added to the tension as she commented, "If the buckled shoe fits."

Tyler sensed the immense dark energy coming from the group, "Guys, back off." He pushed the chubby boy out of the way.

"Stay out of this, Gaplin." The leader of the group warned.

Wednesday agreed and stood up, "Yes, stay out of this."

They stared into each others eyes as Chloe rose from her seat as well, smoothing her dress over.

"So tell me, freak... you ever been with a normie?"

"I've never found one that could handle me."

They held eye contact for a few more seconds until Wednesday scared him with a 'Boo'.

The chubby boy grabbed Wednesday's shoulder as Wednesday turned and kneed him in the stomach. The leader attempted to grab Wednesday when the chubby boy attempted to punch Wednesday in the face, making the chubby boy's fist meet the black kid's face. Wednesday grabbed the chubby kid's arm and bent it, creating a loud popping noise. The leader went to grab Wednesday's ankle to tip her over and get her on the ground. However, Chloe kicked his forearm before he could, making sure to apply enough force that the bone wouldn't fully break, only fracture. Wednesday swung the chubby kid around and threw him to the ground, making him land on top of his leader, Chloe backed up as he fumbled around, trying to get up. Wednesday turned as the last boy swung his fists towards Wednesday's head, she dodged each one. As she was dodging, the chubby boy rolled around, landing by Chloe's feet. Chloe looked down at him as he looked up. However, he didn't meet her eyes, when he looked up he saw the porcelain skin of the demigoddess' legs, his eyes only got to the tops of her knees when Chloe backed up and gave him a death stare. The boy looked at her in fear as a large wet spot appeared on his pants. She cursed him under her breath as his eyes burned with intolerable pain. Wednesday finished with the tall boy and Chloe huffed, walking over to her with her arms crossed. Tyler also walked over asking Wednesday, "So, where'd you get those kung fu moves?" He didn't acknowledge what Chloe did to the two boys that were groaning and crawling all over the floor, in favor of giving his undivided attention to the goth girl.

"My uncle taught me. He spent five years in a Tibetan Monastery."

"Was he a monk?"

"Prisoner."

Sheriff Gaplin entered the café as the boys Chloe had beaten were still crawling on the ground in front of him.

"Dad."

"Tyler, what the hell's going on in here?"

"Um, they were harassing a customer, and she put them in their place."

The sheriff studied Wednesday with questioning blue eyes. "This little thing took down three boys? Did you help her?" He questioned his son.

"I helped, I made sure they stayed down," Chloe pointed towards to chubby boy, who was cradling his eyes, "That one will lose his eye sight soon." Then, she pointed to the kid who had crocodile tears running down his face. "And that one has a fractured arm. "

The sheriff looked at Chloe with wide eyes.

"Dad, I swear, I wasn't involved."

Weems entered the building as she said, "Apologizes, Sheriff. This one slipped away from me."

Chloe raised her eyebrow towards Weems. She knew Weems was talking about Wednesday, but she was still mad that Weems didn't acknowledge Chloe, her queen, her leader.

"Come on, Miss Addams, time to go."

Wednesday gave the sheriff a side eye as she walked over to Weems. Chloe also walked towards Weems, the boys who were on the ground immediately crawled away, giving Chloe space to stand.

"Wait a minute, hang on." The sheriff said. Wednesday turned to him as he stared at Wednesday's face. "You're an Addams? Don't tell Gomez Addams is your father?" He questioned.

Wednesday nodded. He continued, "That man belongs behind bars for murder. Guessin' the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." He pointed at Wednesday, "I'm gonna keep my eye on you."

Weems wrapped her arm around Wednesday as she led her out of the building. Chloe used two of her fingers to point to her eyes then at the Sheriff, signaling that she would be watching him, as well, and left to get into the car and go back to Nevermore. She couldn't wait to get her eyes back on Xavier. She was yearning to fall into the emerald pools of his eyes again, to watch him paint with passion spilling from his finger-tips, to admire his graceful smile as he converses with his friends, to listen to his calm breath as he takes notes on his teacher's lecture, to smell to sweet scent of his shampoo as he drags his hands through his hair.

A/N) Don't be mad that I added the looking up skirt thing, it'll come up later (i hope).

P.S) I write these one at a time so i write a chapter, look over it for major mistakes, then post it, and repeat. So i won't really have a plan for the next couple of chapters until i actually write it.
