Harry POV

January 18th, 2021

Skipping through the streets of New York, not having a clue where I'm going as Elsie practically has us running in between the crowds leaves me feeling good. Not the usual feeling I have with Elsie where I just want her to shut up though. It's more of the feeling I had with her up until after her panic attack. I feel happy being around her, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I mean I hate the woman, despise her in some ways but, why does she make me feel like this? What this feeling might be, I have no clue but I need it to go away. Looking over at the girl next to me as she laughs, has me smiling. Crazy, I know. All of a sudden she stops and uses her free hand to reach into her back pocket to grab what I assume is her phone. She looks down at the contact and smiles. Can't help but be curious about who it is.

"Give me a minute?" Not giving me the chance to answer, she walks away picking up the phone to talk to whoever called. I look at her as a smile takes over her face talking to whoever called. While watching her I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn to see a group of what I assume are fans. They all seem to freak out about how I actually acknowledged them. I can't help but smile at their happiness.

"Hi Harry, we're huge fans and we were hoping to get a picture with you" one of the girls finally spoke up as it seemed like she put her nervousness aside unlike her friends.

"Of course, you can. Would you like me to get someone to take it or are we looking for a selfie kind of thing?" As they somehow get their answers out I find myself looking over toward Elise having the need to make sure she is okay. We make eye contact and she smiles at me, giving me the peace that she is fine. I hear the giggles from behind me and I'm quick to turn around and pose for the camera with all the girls. I keep up a conversation before another set of fans come up to me also asking for a picture. Of course, I take them with all of them but I'm still finding myself looking at Elsie but, this time something catches my eye. A man staring at her and something uneasy fills my stomach. I'm quick to say sorry to all the people I can't take pictures with standing in front of me and basically run over to Elsie who is still standing just putting her phone away and looking up at me.

"Hey, how were-" she cuts herself off as I grab her hand and look back at the guy who seems to figure out his place had been found. "Harry, what are you doing? What's wrong?" She pulls us over to the side as she looks really concerned.

"There was this guy El," I look back over her shoulder to see him no longer nearby and now I just feel crazy. "He didn't look like a good guy Elsie, I wouldn't just go crazy like that for no reason." She turns her head around to see no one and all I can think about is how crazy she thinks I am. I look down, rubbing my hand through my hand feeling absolutely crazy. Was I seeing things?

"Harry, I'm not doubting that you saw someone. I just wished that you didn't make a big deal about it so maybe I could've seen them. It's not a big deal though, hopefully, it was just a random creep."

"I'm sorry, I just got really nervous." She immediately shakes her head, shutting me down immediately.

"No don't be, I'm glad you at least got me out of there before anything serious happened. So thank you, Harry. Now come on, let's go get food." She holds out her hand for me to grab and I smile. Grabbing her outstretched hand we begin to walk in the direction that we were walking earlier just at a much slower pace. But I'm still not over that guy. I don't get that feeling often but the way he was looking at her just didn't sit right. Only after a couple of minutes did we finally stop in front of a pizza place. She opens the door and holds it open, bowing her head and giving me the go-ahead to go in before her. I smirk at her gesture bowing myself before walking through the door. Walking up to the hostess I see them get jittery but I don't make any notice of it.
