Elsie's POV

"And cut! That's a wrap for today, see you all on Tuesday." Hearing Elliot's voice ring through the set is like a breath of fresh air as my day is now over. Saying my goodbyes to the crew I head to my dressing room and change out of my clothes into something more comfortable for the drive ahead of me. Once dressed I collect my belongings and head out to the parking lot.
Going to the rental car I purchased I'm beyond shocked when I find someone leaning on the driver's side of the car. I find myself pausing, reaching into my right pocket to grab my phone and the left to grab my pepper spray. I round the car and I feel myself relax as I see the familiar face. Grabbing my chest I finally let myself breathe as I finished my walk to the car.
"Warn someone before you lean on another person's car." Harry turns his head to me with his classic smirk cast on his face reaching out to pull me closer to him.
"Sorry, El I wanted it to be a surprise." He pulls me into himself, wrapping his arms around me to give me a hug.
"Aren't you supposed to be at the house right now to set up for your party tomorrow?" My words came out mumbled and I'm not even sure if he heard me because of his hand holding my head up against his chest.
"I sent Niall, Tessa, and Louis up early to do my dirty work. I did promise them that we would pick up the snacks though." Harry doesn't seem to feel like moving as he continues to hold me but I didn't object. It's a nice feeling.
Thursday night on the roof definitely changed something for us with our dynamic. We understand each other more to a certain point so that we can feel comfortable with one another. When we woke up Friday morning I was still wrapped up in his arms but that didn't last long until I was freaking out about being late. As soon as I left his arms I felt the warmth I woke up with leaving my system. Although Harry was quick to get up after me he explained the whole situation on how he got my call time later.
I said my thanks quickly before leaving his romano and heading to my own to get ready for my day. Thinking that was the last time I would see Harry that day I was shocked to see him leaning on the wall in the hallway outside my door.
"What are you doing?" I say stepping out of my room and letting the door shut behind me.
"I wanted to go to work with you. Jim is waiting for us downstairs." He pushes himself off the wall and takes the bag off my shoulder before grabbing my hand.
I look at him with my eyebrows raised at him trying to figure out what game he is trying to get at but for once I don't think there is a game. I think he is just trying to be nice for once.
We still haven't talked about what was said Thursday night.
I think right now we are just trying to figure out where we go from here. Once we get back to LA everything is going to be different for us. I'm going back to my little girl and everything will change. But when you think about it everything is so complicated.
I don't know if I should keep Harry in my life or whether or not he wants to stay in it. Hell, I don't even know if we still hate each other. We had a rough start which is probably the understatement of the year but I'm not sure how we move on. Some of the things we said to each other might not even be worth forgiving.
I have a major factor in my life to think about which is something he will never understand. I just-
"What is going on in that mind?" Harry's voice pulls me out of my mental crisis as I look up to meet his eyes.
