Chapter Three

Elsie POV

January 17, 2021

As I sit here outside Harry's house I can't help but be extremely annoyed. Today was our last full day in LA before leaving for New York tomorrow at five in the morning. My day was supposed to be filled with long laughs and memories made with Halle and the rest of my family as we spent the day together before I left but instead I'm here. 

I told her I was leaving the day after the whole Harry incident. She was upset when I told her but after I told her she was staying with Connor and Daisy she became better with it. The both of them with Jake and Michael are planning on taking her main necessities and bringing them to each of their houses and switching off on days when they need a break, my suggestion. You might love her a whole lot but when you're not her mom you can get very tired

I've spent time with Harry since the whole cafe incident but never said more than two words to each other. But here I am outside his house waiting for him to open the door. Not to mention it's also freezing out here and it seems like he is taking his sweet old time. As I go to knock again the door swings open

Harry stands there with his hair wet, a towel around his neck, and only a pair of sweatpants on his body. With this movie, I've had to see him shirtless several times but never with his tattoos. I can't help but look down very suddenly just to take them all in.

"Take a picture, it lasts longer." I roll my eyes knowing I was caught as I look back up to Harry's face wishing I could wipe the smug look off his face. He steps aside letting me into his house and I try my best to take it in because it's not what I was expecting at all. There were different pops of color in different places, artwork covers the wall and some pictures are hung up in frames. I can't help but be taken aback by it.

Harry walks by me walking back up the stairs. I assume he came down and I found my way to the couch, taking off my coat and placing it down next to me. I had to come to Harry's today because Samantha and Elliot said we have to learn more about each other. Since we have to act the role of a couple we have to know things about each other that most people wouldn't know. They emailed us about this last night with a link attached to a document with a bunch of questions that we could be asked in an interview. I head into my bag that I brought with me and pull out the two sheets of paper with all the questions on it, one for Harry and one for me. It takes Harry another two minutes before he comes down but as I wait I simply take in my surroundings trying to get the most information I can just from this one room.

Harry now walks down with a shirt on his body and phone in hand. He sits down opposite me in the armchair looking very relaxed considering I'm in his house. I slide one of the pieces of paper in my hand over to him and he looks at it weirdly before he picks it up.

"I don't know about you but I would like to get this done and over with. I still have last-minute things to do before tomorrow and this kind of put a stop to that." Well, it's more that I just want to get home to Halle to spend the most time I can with her before I leave but he doesn't need to know that.

"Well before we start I just have one question," I nod my head giving him the go-ahead single and he opens his mouth again, "Why is your house of limits? I find it pretty annoying that if we ever need to go to someone's house it has to be my house." I shake my head already feeling annoyed by being here but I bite my tongue to stop myself from saying something that will cause an argument.

"It's because my house is not an option for my reason. We don't have to go to each other's houses often but if it gets too annoying for you then figure something out yourself." He gives me a deadpan look and I can't help but give a smirk before pulling a pen out of my bag and looking down at the question sheet. "First question, full name."
