SEBASTIAN MILKOVICH WAS LIVING AT HIS COUSIN'S HOUSE, mostly because his sisters were already staying there. the two were sleeping in mandy's room. sebastian was staying in mickeys room while he was gone.

sebastian's birthday was the next day, which he fucking dreaded. seb hated his birthday, because he didn't have the best birthdays ever. there have been a lot of times where sam and jess forget his birthday, and it hurt so bad. maya, madeline and louis always remembered, but for some reason sam and jess never did. and sometimes even sebastian didn't remember his own birthday.

sebastian milkovich was 11 years old, walking into a diner with his parents and older brother. sebastian's birthday was the previous day, and the kid was really hurt by it. louis, maya and mads all got him a present, but he didn't even get a happy birthday from sam and jess.

the four got a booth, with sam and jess sitting across from the two brothers. their waitress came walking over, and looked at the kid. at that point sebastian was already starting to look like a teenager, so she had to ask. "how old is he?" the waitress pointed at the young sebastian.

"he's 10." sam nodded.

"he's 11." louis corrected. sam and jess both looked confused, before realization hit them.

"we forgot your birthday?" the two looked filled with guilt, a frown on the couples faces. "why didn't you tell us?" jess asked the boy.

"i didn't want to bother, because you would just forget it again." the boy frowned.

14 year old sebastian walked into the kitchen with a smile, and leaned onto the counter next to maya. "hey, happy birthday, punk." the blonde smiled, pulling her younger brother into a side hug.

"thanks, maya." sebastian grinned.

a tired sam walked down the stairs, going towards the counter and grabbing the coffee pot. maya watched their adoptive father with a look of annoyance, and slight disbelief as he walked in. she waited to hear him wish his son a happy birthday, but nothing came of it.

the two siblings watched as sam poured himself coffee, who then turned to see his kids staring at him, almost like they were waiting for something. "what?" sam asked the two.

"are you being serious?" maya asked with a scoff. "you have nothing to say?"

"what are you talking about?" sam asked, confusion on his face. maya looked at sebastian, then to their dad. sam still stood there in confusion, wondering why his oldest daughter was so pissed off.
