"I will not live forever, I wish to see you contented, happy even." Rhaenyra scoffed rolling her eyes at her father, the looming thoughts of being overshadowed still ever present,

"And you think a man will do it?" Viserys sighed his hands gripping his wooden chair tightly, desperately trying to remain peaceful,

"A family." Rhaenyra's eyes gathered tears as she gazed at her father,

"I had a family, I have Orion, why can you not see that he is what makes me happy, I am content when with him." Viserys sighed shaking his head his frustration palpable,

"Orion Hightower is the second son, of a second son, marriage is to strengthen the bonds of the crown, you know this." Rhaenyra shook her head standing from her chair,

"He would make me happier than any high born Lord, I care not for the crown if he and I could wed. You could strip me of all titles, all land I stand to inherit, and disinherit me as your daughter if I could have him, he is all I will ever long for."

Love is the death of duty, and Duty is the death of Love.

Orion swing his sword idly, dissociated from the current world, in mere hours he would storm Kings Landing, and claim his lover as his wife.

And yet he could not overcome the anxiety,

"You must really love her." Orion's gaze flickered to his brother, while the man stood leant against a tent pillar,

"She's my everything." Gwayne smiled his hand grasping Orion's soldier,

"Your a good man brother, and you'll be a good husband to her." Orion smiled thankfully at his brother, embracing the man he once idolised.

Title does not define a man, it's the lengths he would go to to protect his wife that proves a man's worth.
