"Battle are won by horses, swords and men not your fucking books and politics, you need to realise that if you want to win any war."
- Sir Arya Stark to Lord Tyrion Lannister

Orion traced the Valyrian engravings of the sword carefully, sheathing it in the leather guard he found abandoned upon stone floor.

"Why me?" The question although originally rhetorical was answered by the deep deadpan voice of a ghost,

"Because your the only one that can do the fucking job." Orion stood up aggressively his chair slamming backwards at the force,

"I never wanted any of this!" Aegon scoffed raising his hands exasperated,

"Nobody ever wants this Orion, it's about whoever's man enough to fucking do it!" The King threw the contents of the table onto the floor, slamming his hands onto the wooden furniture, his voice eerily calm,

"I will not stand here in the presence of a ghost demanding I do something, no one has prepared me for, why does it have to be me?! Why can't you find some other poor fucker to do it?! Have I not suffered enough?!" By the end Orion's voice was raised, and his face purple with rage.

Aegon's eyes became sympathetic as he purched upon a stray chair, "Every century a man is born worthy to release sword from stone, and ever century that man fails his descendants. You were chosen because in a world full of cunts your the best of them." Orion chuckled ironically face in hand,

"I killed my father, I committed the worst sin in the seven fucking kingdoms, how can I be deemed worthy?!" Aegon shrugged tearing a peace of bread from the loaf, long since abandoned on the floor chewing it,

"It seems the Gods have a sense of humour." Orion rolled his eyes throwing on a fresh set of clothes, the ghost King seemingly enjoying the meal left abandoned.

"Do you know what becomes of the War with the Dornish?" The conqueror shrugged,

"I haven't wandered the realms of men to collect information." Orion raised his eyebrows deadpan annoyed at his ghost companion.

"I'm starting to believe your completely unimportant to me." Aegon shrugged once more smirking by widely,

"Be that as it may, I believe it time that you reunite with you wife and children." Orion nodded inwardly smiling to himself at the thought of his wife and daughters.

"Of course."
