Chapter twelve.
Chewie roared as he rushed down the stairs, shooting Stormtroopers that were in his way. Aurora's head on Han's chest as she sobbed, Chewie rushed down the bridge, wrapping an arm around her middle and pulling her up ignoring her shouts for her dad and off the bridge. Only until they were at the bottom of the stairs did Chewie put down Aurora, taking her hand and dragging her up the stairs. Aurora's legs went on their own, her thoughts flooded in pain and sorrow as Chewie and her rushed out into the snow.
Chewie never let go of her hand until they were away from the base as it explodes behind them. Aurora turns on her heel spotting Adam holding Rey's hand with Finn hot on their tail as they rush through the forest. Aurora looked down at her hand, her lightsabre brushing against her fingertips, Chewie roared softly beside her making her turn to him.
"Go and get the Falcon Chewie," Aurora says, voice broken. Chewie roared again placing a hand on her shoulder, she smiles sadly, placing her hand over his, "Go Chewie, I need to get Rey, Finn and Adam. I will be fine."
Chewie brought her into hug as he roared softly, Aurora holding him as tightly as she could, "I love you too Chewie."

Aurora raced through the forest as she felt his presence near. She spots Rey, Finn and Adam through the trees, then she sees him, walking towards Rey, Finn and Ada, as they stand frozen, watching him walking towards them. Kylo ignites his lightsabre, the red spark brushing against the snow as he does.
Aurora runs as fast as she could, skidding across the snow as she stops between Kylo and Adam, Finn and Rey. She holds her lightsabre tightly in her hand. His cold eyes meeting hers.
"You killed him."
"Now he can't save you."
"I never needed saving," Aurora calmly says, "I needed my dad and you took him from me. From mum."
Rey drew her blaster, but before she could fire, Kylo sent her flying backwards with force. She screamed as her back hit the tree before she collapsed. Finn and Adam raced to her, Finn taking her face in his hands, gently turning to wake her up as Adam knelt beside him. Aurora didn't take her eyes off her brother. She couldn't.
"Traitor!" Kylo shouted at Finn and Adam, looking past his sister at the two men.
"They betrayed you to do the right thing!" Aurora shouted in reply, "You betrayed your family! You left us!"
"I chose the stronger path!" Kylo pointed the lightsabre at her, "You followed the weaker and that's why he is dead."
Finn stood next to Aurora, Luke's lightsabre in his hand. Kylo looked down at the lightsabre before looking back at his sister, "That lightsabre- it belongs to me."
