Paige Withlock

"Come on, Paige, please" Elizabeth messed with my arm as if the act was annoying enough for me to give in to her request.

"Lizzie, I don't want to be the third wheel, I'll stay here, you can go" I threw myself on the couch looking for the remote control.

"But he's inviting you too" she mentioned as if that made a difference "And you need to help me, remember?" she said with a forlorn puppy dog look "If you don't, you're not my real friend" she manipulated and I looked at her with an arched eyebrow. Honestly having to spend even more time with one of the Sturniolo was torture, even worse with Elizabeth endearing him but I guess at the moment the closer I get to them the better for the plan.

"Fine, whatever, I'll get my skateboard and you can use Taylor's," I shrugged, getting up and going upstairs to get the them.

I went up to my room and crouched down beside my bed picking up the skateboard from under my bed. I then proceeded to Taylor's room. As I entered I made the same move knowing that she also kept her skateboard under her bed and as soon as I picked it up I stood up noticing something strange in her nightstand. All of Taylor's pencil were always arranged in color order, she was one of those controlling artists — maybe she has a trait of OCD. But for some reason the dark blue pencil was before the light blue one breaking the color order from lightest to darkest. If Taylor were here she would act as if a crime had been committed. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the mistake in her room and sent it to see her angry knowing that mom had probably borrowed the pencil and accidentally got the order wrong. I went back downstairs to find Elizabeth looking at herself in the mirror resting beside the front door.

"What took you so long?" she asked as soon as she noticed my presence.

"What do you mean? It wasn't even five minutes," I retorted handing her Taylor's skateboard.

"Whatever, come on, I don't want him waiting too long" she opened the door quickly as if he lived hours away and not in the house across the street.

As we left the house we saw Christopher sitting on the sidewalk while his feet played with his skateboard. He then stood up when he saw Elizabeth and I getting closer to where he was sitting.

"Long time, no see" he sarcastically greeted.

"Did you miss me?" Elizabeth asked flirtatious.

"Of course" he smiled and she placed a little kiss on the side of his lip pretending it was an accident.

"God, enough with the PDA, I'm getting nauseous here" I said throwing the skateboard on the ground and holding it with one of my feet.

"Jealous?" Christopher asked with challenging eyes. Oh, he better not play with me today because I'm not holding back anymore.

"Get over yourself" I answered dryly, then got on my skateboard and started to slide down the street just to distract myself from the two who just kept talking.

While I was just riding my skateboard I watched Christopher try to help Elizabeth stand upright on her skateboard, she seemed very happy about the way his attention was all to her. I decided to send Nathan a message inviting him to join us since it was thanks to him that skateboarding had become one of my childhood passions. He answered saying he was on his way, so while he wasn't here I tried to do a Casper Flip which was one of the tricks that I was most horrible at, but I stubbornly wanted to learn. To do the trick you basically combine a half-Kickflip with a quick back foot scoop on the underside of the tail. This brings the skateboard around 180-degrees, right-side-up, and back under your feet. Basically a broken arm for me. But I'm not a kid anymore so I imagine I can do it easily.
