the losers

As me and Beverly walk through the halls we hear someone shouting bevs name. "Y/n, over here."

She grabs my hand, pulling me towards four boys leaning against the lockers.

"This is my sister y/n. Y/n, these are my friends. " she turns and smiles at me saying the last word.

The brunette boy with a white and blue shirt spoke up first introducing everyone. "I'm bill. This is Stan, Eddie, Richie. " he points at each boy saying their name.

I smile at them, shyly. I'm not very used to talking to new people.

The bell rings causing all of us to go our separate ways except me and Stan which I just learned had the same first period as me.

"I like your hair. " I say, trying to break the silence.

"Really? Everyone says it looks like noodles. " he says causing me to laugh.

"It looks good. "

We both walk into the classroom, walking to our respected seats. I smile at him from across the room once I sat down, noticing him glancing at me.

The blonde teacher walks in, starting her lesson.

"Psst. Y/n." I hear from beside me, turning towards the one and only Henry Bowers.

"What do you want?"

He rolls his eyes at the anger in my voice, pointing at his paper with his pencil. "Can you give me the answers?"

"Absolutely not. You asking me that literally got us detention yesterday. "

He rolls his eyes once again, letting out a frustrated sigh. "No, what got us introuble was you throwing the paper. "

I put my pencil down on the wooden desk. "Are you really blaming that on me?"

Before the boy could answer the teacher cuts him off. "Y/n, Henry. Is there something you want to share with the class?"

I sink down in my seat. I hated getting yelled at by teachers.

Henry seemed unfazed, rolling his eyes.

"No."

The teacher points at the whiteboard at the front of the class. "Then pay attention or you will be getting detention again. "

I groan in annoyance, looking at Henry again. "See. That was your fault. "

He mumbles something incoherent, looking down at his paper.
