all week i've been working on what i want to make of the new house. i've been working with a designer about how i want to redo the house. surprisingly it was built in 1970 but it totally needs to be updated. the best thing i've figured out about this house is that there's a farm!! i'm so excited. it's also 45 minutes away from the city which is perfect. my designer, kevin, and i have started on the kitchen. the kitchen has a very high ceilings which is amazing. the first thing we have to do is remove all the cabinets because they are a hideous brown, and nate wanted a white kitchen which i agree with. so i pointed out that, as well with we need to replace the marble on the kitchen island, to more of a white. we did to switch the lights also in the kitchen. the floors could stay but if it's better to remove them that's okay. in the entry way there is beautiful marble floors which will be staying, we have to change the chandelier, the center table, the mirror above the fireplace, and the rug on the stairs. the next room is a beautiful formal living room. (i'm just going to give rooms + then links to what i imagine them looking like when were there in the story)
