Santana was waiting for Puck to arrive at her house for their weekly hookup, she knew he was at his work as a pool cleaner, but Puck told her to wait.
Santana sat on his bed and began thinking about Brittany like she always did, which also scared her as well, just as much as her own sexuality scared her too and she also began to think about if she should tell Puck. Santana knew that Puck would be the first person to ever know her secret, she was scared and nervous as she has never admitted it out loud to anyone, and she didn't know how Puck would react or know if he would tell anyone about it.
As Santana sat there in her overthinking rant in her head, Puck had walked in his room and took off his shirt, and sat next to her and said
"Lopez what's going on?" Santana snapped out of her head and said
"Nothing." Puck gave Santana a really look and said
"I don't believe you, start talking." Santana was nervous and said
"I have a secret and I have no idea how you will react to it, and I have literally never said it out loud to anyone before." Puck became nervous and wide eyed and said
"You're pregnant too aren't you?" Santana shook her head no and said
"I'm not pregnant Puckerman. It's something else. I'm just unsure how to say it out loud." Puck placed his hand on hers and said
"Take your time, and whatever it is, you know I won't judge you, as do remember I did get Quinn pregnant by accident even though she basically wants nothing to do with me and wants the whole school to feel sorry for her when noone knows what actually happened that night because one Q won't say anything and two she basically made me shut my mouth with noone would believe me." Santana was concerned and confused and said
"What do you mean, and what exactly happened that night Q cheated?" Puck sighed and said
"You really wanna know? You will be the first and only person to know, and most likely the only person to believe me even though she said noone will ever believe me." Santana was even more concerned and said
"Puckerman tell me exactly what happened?" Puck took a deep breath and said
"She called me over after Hudson ditched her for something to do with the football team who were throwing eggs at Rachel's house which didn't involve me, as like you know I respect Rachel. And Q was the one that had the wine coolers, not me. She kissed me first I tried to stop her, and push her away because she was with Finn, and Finn was one of my best friends, like I would do that to him. I'm a screw up and Lima loser, but I'm not an idiot and I'm loyal, you of all people know that Lopez, and when I found out that she was pregnant with my baby and I tried to help and I even said I will tell someone, she said that who would believe a Lima loser like me and turned it around and said I got her drunk on wine coolers because she felt fat, when it's not true, she had and supplied the wine coolers, said everything was okay, and not to tell anyone otherwise it would ruin her reputation, and when she asked if I had a condom I said trust me nothing about that said yes or no, and I hesitated before anything because she was with Finn and I wouldn't do that to my best friend, and it was her that came on to me, and now she's putting around a lie to have people feel sorry for her and saying she felt fat because she got pregnant and now I can't do anything about it." Santana was shocked and angry at Quinn. Santana always defends Puck. She, Brittany and Rachel all do. They might hate each other and disagree on everything but one thing she, Brittany and Rachel had in common besides talent, is their respect for Puck. It's why Santana never got angry or hated on Rachel for dating Puck that time, because she and Brittany knew Puck was in safe hands with Rachel. But what Quinn did crosses the line and knew it was something that Brittany and Rachel had to know about.
Santana crossed her arms sassily and said
"I can't believe she did that. Here she is acting all high and queen bee and taking advantage of every boy around her when Hudson doesn't pay her attention once and doesn't want her reputation ruined and basically assaulted you and silenced you and lied too because if she did feel fat she would have called me or Brittany over " Santana knew that she couldn't exactly hurt Quinn, but she knew asking Rachel to join the squad and telling Sue to make Rachel and Becky co captains is the perfect revenge on Quinn for hurting and disrespecting Puck.
Santana squeezed Puck's hand and said
"I believe you Puck. No matter what she says, I believe you, and so will Brittany and Rachel. You know that Brittany and I have one thing common with Rachel and that is our respect for you, it's why I never got angry at you when you and Rachel dated that time, and your secret about being in love with Rachel still is safe with me." Puck nodded his head and Santana continued
"And since you were honest and confided in me with something so personal, it's only right I do the same. But please don't tell anyone, you're going to be the first ever person to know Puckerman, you can't tell anyone not a soul, you are even going to know before my parents and abuela." Puck looked at Santana and softly spoke
"I promise I won't tell anyone Lopez." Santana trusted Puck and said
"I'm. I'm a lesbian and I'm in love with Brittany and I'm very terrified of both." Puck hugged her and said
"It's safe with me Santana. And I have an idea on how we can keep it a secret and keep everyone from knowing even Brittany and I can help you feel less scared too." Santana pulled apart the hug and said
"Thank you, and what do you mean and how are we going to do that?" Puck smiled at her and said
"By continuing to hook up or just meet up and let people think we are hooking, and we only stop and call it quits when you call it and when you want to stop and your comfortable with everyone knowing or until you had courage to tell Brittany about it and you're with her." Santana thought about it and said
"I can't ask you do that Puck." Puck shrugged his shoulders and said
"I offered and it will help you until you're ready and comfortable for Brittany and everyone to know and help you with being less scared too" Santana was still unsure but she knew Puck was right about it all and said
"I'm in, but only until I'm ready and comfortable to tell everyone or until I tell Brittany." Puck held his hand out for Santana to shake and said
"Deal Lopez."
