Both Martial and Hukbalahap stood as still as ever, frozen in their spots. Martial blinked profusely, trying to make sense of what he just saw. Hukbalahap's scream echoed throughout the room and into to the very cliffs where Del descended to.

"Kuya Del!" Hukbalahap shouts, her breathing becoming rapid and distorted.

Martial didn't have time to see if she was okay, he immediately ran to the balcony and looked over the edge where Del once stood.

Without anything else to do, Martial screams.

"Del!"

"Del!"

"Del!"

The echoes of the cliffs snap Del into consciousness as he heaved heavily, trying to catch his breath. As he hesitantly opens his eyes, he tries to observe his surroundings with blurred vision.

"Aahh... Papa... Mama..." Del calls out, his throat sore and pained.

He coughs out and held his throat in pain, only to come to a dreadful discovery when his arm comes in contact with his throat.

Del looked at his arm and saw that his hand was nowhere to be found.

"Aah..." Del muttered out. The missing body part left a numb feeling behind. So numb, but it was unbearable.

As he tries to lift himself up from the ground, the rocky terrain below him began to scrape at his knees and arms, creating an ear-grinding sound as crystal came in contact with rough stone.

The sudden sound of a roar echoed throughout the cliff.

The strong vibrations of the echoed made Del's small body shake from the sheer pressure, large chunks of crystal from his body threatening to break and shatter if he dare moves an inch. Del covered his ears and closed his eyes, shaking profusely.

"What...? Wh..."

Del mumbled in fear and confusion as the roads grew louder, the vibrations shaking him even more as pieces of rocks and dust fell from the shaking cliff.

What had happened? He could've sworn he heard Phil crying, he could've sworn he saw Phil trying to reach him but failing. He just wanted to help his brother, guide him like he promised his mother. Why was he here now?

He didn't want to open his eyes. If anything, he wanted to run away and get out but his legs seemed to grow weak after the fall, his jaw barely moved. His skull area was broken, and Del knew that he couldn't go anywhere with such an injury.

He was too afraid.

The roars grew louder, but Del didn't want to open his eyes to see what was causing such sounds. He didn't want to see the thing that could possibly hurt him. It was too much.
