Charlie POV

On Sunday morning, I'm woken early by Nick pressing hot, open mouthed kisses down my stomach. His hands are gripping my hips tightly, keeping me still.

"Fuck..." I breathe out, goosebumps appearing over my skin as Nick gently mouths at my still clothed dick. His eyes flick up to meet mine and I see the glimmer of lust in them.

"Hi." He whispers and moves up to press our lips together.

"Morning. A little keen this morning aren't you?"

"Mhm." I let out a laugh as he slides back down, one hand reaching beside him for something incoulsnt see. When I heard the quiet click of a bottle opening, I realised he'd been reaching for the lube, coating his fingers before gently pressing them into me one at a time.

"Oh God, Nick. More, please." I pant, gripping to the bedsheets and arching my back.

"Patience, baby." His warm breath washes over the skin of my inner thighs and he drops a few kisses to the sensitive area.

It feels like my whole body is simultaneously on fire and freezing cold. Nick is practically an expert at knowing just where and how to touch me to get me undone like this. He takes his time, working me open slowly until he's satisfied and then sinks his dick into me in one go.

"Oh, fuck! Oh, Nick, oh my god..." I let go of the sheets and dig my fingers into his back, trying to pull him closer to me. He resists for a few minutes and I feel myself melt at the sight of his biceps bulging with the effort of keeping him up, but he eventually gives in, pressing our bodies close together

"God, this never gets old." Nick says, moving his hips slowly so that I can feel every movement of his dick inside me. "I love this so much."

"I love it too." I tell him, weaving my fingers into his hair and pulling him down for another kiss. I'm close, and I know he is too but we want to make this last as long as possible so he slows his movements even more until he's barely moving at all. He pushes up onto his elbows again, hovering his body over mine but I take the chance to flip us over so I'm on top, looking down at him with my hands splayed across his chest. "Wish you'd wake me up like this every morning."

"We'd never get anything done." He replies with a laugh, thumbs tracing light circles over my hips.

"I don't care. We'd have the best life."

"We do have the best life, baby." I lean down to kiss him and he wraps his arms around my waist. He's still got his dick inside me and the movements make me shiver.

"I love our life. I love you."

"I love you too," He promises, "Can you move?"

I don't say anything, just moving my hips down against his desperately chasing that high. He slips one hand between us to tug at my dick and seconds later we both come, panting heavily until we come down. I roll off him, letting his dick fall out, and lay beside him.

"Beautiful." He whispers, laying on his side to face me and brushing his fingers down my cheek and I feel myself blush under his gaze. How does he still manage to make me feel like this? I shake my head softly and smile.

"Cringe."

"Only for you."

**********

When we finally get up, Nick makes breakfast for us while I tidy away the remnants of last night's game of monopoly that I swear might have ended up in divorce if we'd kept playing. Maybe it's not a game we should play on our own.

"Is there anything you want to do today?" Nick asks as we eat together, watching me closely over the table. He's been particularly attentive to my eating since I admitted that I'd been struggling a few weeks back.

"Can we have a day, just us?"

"Of course. How does a movie day sound?"

"Perfect."

We finish breakfast and settle down in the living room with a blanket over our laps to keep out the chill. Nick puts on The Notebook since we've been into watching romance movies recently. I start the movie sitting up beside him but it doesn't take long before I'm laying down with my head in his lap. His fingers stroke through my hair gently and I let one of my hands rest on his knee, my fingers lightly moving across the skin there.

It's not sexual, not in the least. It's just a way for both of us to be close and let the other know that we love them.

I fall asleep at some point, waking later to find myself alone in the living room, the blanket tucked in around me.

"Nick?" I call out, sitting up to look around but I get no answer. "Baby, are you here?"

Our flat is tiny so he should be able to hear me if he's here and awake. I get to my feet and make my way towards our bedroom, finding him curled up on the bed. There's a book beside his hand, fallen haphazardly. I smile softly and put the book back on his night table.

"Mm..." He mumbles in his sleep when I crawl onto the bed beside him, curling myself into him. His arms wrap around me and I feel at peace. This is where I'm supposed to be; held tight by my amazing husband.
