"Arachnid!"

Summer gasped as the words left her mouth, twisted and frayed with a familiarity that wasn't hers. She wasn't quite sure who it belonged to, but the image of a bloodthirsty cybertronian was imprinted in her mind, sending a shiver down her spine.

"Summer?"

Miko swung her head over the side of the bunkbed to look at her friend.

"Are you okay?" The Japanese girl asked, her eyebrows drawn together.

"I'm fine," Summer turned around and pulled the blankets over her head. "I was just reading Raf's report."

"Really?" Miko frowned, "Because it's laying next to your bag across the room."

Summer glanced at the papers and huffed.

Miko climbed down and jumped into Summer's bed. The girl's usually strange hairdo had been pulled apart in her sleep and was resting at the top of her shoulders.

Summer groaned, "Why are you awake, Miko?"

"I was thinking about Jack," Miko admitted. "And you."

"Oh," Summer pulled the blankets down. "I really am sorry about what happened."

"It's fine." Miko waved her off. "Jack wasn't completely lying with what he said, you just gave him the guts to say it."

"That's not how it works," Summer assured her friend quickly. "I make people more angry. More upset. What he said, was probably a tiny seed of annoyance at your music. I turned it into a mutated venus fly trap."

Miko elbowed her friend lightly. "Don't be so hard on yourself."

Summer didn't reply.

"So..." Miko scooted back a litttle, "what's up with Arachnid?"

"It's... nothing," Summer lied. "The description of her just creeped me out. I guess my dreams thought so too."

"Hmph."

Summer twiddled her thumbs, "Although, I was wondering, which of the bots do you think hates Arachnid the most?"

"You did a lousy job reading the description," Miko stated suspiciously. "Arcee and Arachnid have been enemies since waaaay before the bots reached Earth."

"Right," Summer nodded. "I remember reading that now."

Miko yawned and climbed out of the bed, "Well, let me know if you want to admit what's really going on. Otherwise, I'm gonna go pass out."

"Sweet dreams," Summer replied.

Then she whispered something too quiet for the other girl to hear. "Please have good dreams."

Summer laid awake in her bed for a long time, listening to the steady sound of Miko's snoring. June was silent, turned toward the wall.

She wondered about Ultra Magnus. She'd been so mad at him that she affected Jack. After revealing what she did to the boy, Magnus no doubt knew she was upset with him.

And he was upset with her.

He had good reason to be. Even if Jack wasn't in his right mind, he'd brought up good points. Making the Autobots listen to music they don't like could affect how well they fight. Summer was too ignorant to realize that.

With a small sigh, Summer climbed out of bed and left her room. Her footsteps were almost silent against the concrete floor as she made her way to the commander's berthroom.

It was empty.

Frowning, Summer made her way to the main room, but Ratchet was the only one up and about. The medic was working on something, sparks flying from the device in his servo.
