"Ready As I'll ever be"
Ana dragged me out of bed, forcing me to change my outfit to a more public appropriate outfit. She made me put on a clean white top and jeans throwing my hair up into a high pony tail. She drove us to a lake where our parents used to take us when we were kids
"Oh my god! I haven't been here In years!" I laughed next to her as we pulled up on the side of the road
"Yeah, I come here sometimes to clear my head" she smiled softly at me
"How are they? Mom and dad?" I asked turning to her
"They're good, they miss you though" she sighed as we unbuckled our seatbelts
"I know, Ive been meaning to call them" I replied. We walked a long the thin stone path that stretched around the outside of the lake until we came to a little bench and sat down
"What's new with you then?" I asked
"Oh, nothing really just the same old me" she sighed as she sat next to me
"Anything else with you? Aside from the pregnancy?" She asked
"Earlier I showed Rio this huge house that I loved to have for us, but he just said that he 'loved it' which means that he's only doing it for me. There's something wrong with him and I can't seem to find out what it is" I explained. She always listens to me no matter what, which is one of the reasons I love her so much
"Well, a lot could be going on. Just, try and talk to him" she said. I leaned against her shoulder and gazed over the gorgeous view of the lake in front of us
"Do you remember we used to go canoeing and dad flipped us over that one time" she chuckled pointing to the middle point
"Yeah, then mom got pissed at him for getting her hair wet" I chuckled back remembering all the good memories we all had as a family and how we don't do that anymore
"She forgave him in five minutes" she smiled back
"How is it that mom and dad have the perfect relationship after so many years?" I asked
"I don't know, I guess they have their own ways of keeping each other happy" she replied
"Are you still married?" I asked looking up at her
"Nah, I divorced him last year after cheating on me" she said. I turned to her in shock, Ana had always loved Alex but after he cheated on her I guess that love just faded away
"Seriously? And you didn't tell me?" I said
"I didn't want you to feel bad for me" she said taking my hand in hers
"Don't be stupid, your my sister. I'll support you no matter what" I said taking her in my arms
"I love you sis" she said softly. I hugged her tight appreciating the sister moments we hardly ever have anymore
