I woke up to the sound of my anoying alarm, blasting in my ear

I groaned as I lifted my arm and picked up my phone, turning the alarm off

I climbed down from my bed and opened my wardrobe, looking through y my clothes I picked out a F/c T-shirt and some baggy pants

Putting on the clothes I grab my phone and go downstairs

I saw my mom in the kitchen, making breakfast

I silently went to the kitchen island and sat down

"Morning honey, how'd you sleep?" She asked, giving me a warm smile

I smiled back

"Good, though my alarm is anoying." I said

"Just like every day." My mom laughed lightly as she continued to make breakfast, I wanted to peek at what she was making, but I didn't want to anger her, so I sat in place

We just sat in silence, only the pan on the stove could be heard, and occasionally some scraping on it as well

From upstairs I heard my brothers feet hit the floor, their footsteps were heavy and you could hear how their feed dragged against the floor

'I'm guessing they had a rough sleep' I thought to myself at both of my brothers could be seen walking down the stairs

"Morning mom." Both of my brothers said

"Morning my angel's! How'd you sleep?" She questioned as she took the pan off of the stove

"Awful, the neighbor's dog wouldn't stop barking." Aiden said

"Aw I'm so sorry to hear that, here have some pancakes." She said as she put five pancakes on each of my brothers plates, only puting four on mine

"Hey. Why do I have less?" I questioned

"Oh, you're brothers struggled to sleep the whole night and you're complaining about having one less pancake?" My mom scolded as my brothers sat down

"Be happy I even made you breakfast." She snarled as she walked to the living room

I sighed as I started to eat my pancakes

The three of us sat in complete silence for a couple of seconds untill I spoke up

"I know the neighbor's dog wasn't barking all night." I said, I heard my brothers take a sharp breath

"What was keeping you up all night?" I asked as I looked at the both of them

"What did mom tell you? Y'know... When you got home after we told you mom wanted to speak to you?" Aiden asked, I sighed as I took another biti of my pancakes before speaking
