Friday

I woke up with a groan as my alarm rang, picking up my phone I turned off the alarm as well as got my phone off the charger. Jumping down from my bed I stretched my arms and groaned in delight

It has been a eventful two weeks to say the least, getting an A on the history presentation, getting closer to Ross and Robert, Roy not so much, and never telling my mother I got an A- in maths, and turns out my family decided to go visit my mom's parents that I didn't like very much, and I had to be left at home alone for the whole day, so it's a good thing I didn't go with them

Opening my closet I looked through the different clothes, pulling out a hoodie and some sweatpants, don't wanna get all fancy for school

I took off my pajamas, looking in the mirror I saw that the bruise I gained from hitting a rock finally faded away, as well as my mom's nail prints, but on my left hand you could still see a light cut from the bush

Finally putting on my clothes I went downstairs to be met by the smell of pancakes. I walked in to the kitchen to see my dad making breakfast

"Morning dad." I said, sitting down on the kitchen island

"Morning Y/n." He said happily, setting down a plate full of pancakes in front of me, I picked up a fork and knife and started to eat

"How'd you sleep?" My dad asked, sitting down across from me

"Great." I said, continuing to eat my pancakes, "How about you?" I asked, my mouth full as I tried not to spit out the food by accident

"I slept good, thought your mom kept snoring." He mumbled the last part, I laughed lightly

I heard footsteps approaching and my brothers soon came in to the kitchen

"Morning dad." Caden said, rubbing his eyes as Aiden just yawned loudly

"Morning." He said happily, getting up from where he was sitting to get some pancakes from my brothers

Setting two plates full of pancakes in front of my brothers they quickly shoved a pretty big amount in to their mouth (that's what she said)

"Where's mom?" Caden asked, spitting some of the pancakes in his mouth

"Oh, she's just running some errands." Dad chuckled, I took the last bit of pancake on my plate and put it in my mouth as I got up from the kitchen island

"Well, I'm going to head to school." I said, picking up my backpack and walking towards the front door

Putting my hand on to the front doors handle, I saw Lucky from the corner of my eye sitting on a chair

I looked towards her and smiled, walking towards her and petting her. But sadly the serotonin didn't last long as I had to leave for school

Opening the door I walked out and up the street in silence
