Tuesday

I woke up to the light stopping of the cars engine

I opened my eyes and stretched lightly with a yawn opening the cars for I jumped out

"Ready for a week of camping gang?" My dad cheerfully smiled, my brothers screamed in excitement as I just stayed silent, giving my dad a slight smile

"Alright, who's going to help me carry these bags?" My dad questioned, holding two big bags that were probably filled with pillows, blanket's etcetera

"D/n, leave the kids alone-"

"I wanna carry the marshmallows!" Aiden yelled, cutting off our mom as he pulled out a big bag of marshmallows from the trunk of the car

"No fair! I wanted to carry the marshmallows!" Caden whined as he pulled on the bag Aiden was holding

"No! I picked them up first!" Aiden argued, pulling the bag of marshmallows back towards him, with a slight sigh i walked towards my brothers and grabbed the bag of marshmallows, lifting them out of their reach

"Y/n! Give me the marshmallows!" Aiden whine, jumping to try and grab the bag

"No, you're going to rip the bag." I said, laughing lightly as the image of the two crying with marshmallows spilled on to the ground appeared in my head

Aiden and Caden huffed, crossing their arms in anoyence, knowing I was correct but not wanting to admit it

"Okay you two, you can carry the crackers." My dad said, shoving a bag of crackers in Aiden's arms, "and you can carry the chocolate." He continued, shoving a couple of chocolate bars towards Caden

"Happy?" He questioned, putting a hand on his hip

"Thanks dad!" They thanked him as they ran in to the woods, towards our usual camping spot

"This is gonna be a long week." My dad breathed out, my mom laughed as she put a hand on his shoulder

"Your the one that didn't want our kids to be attached to their devices." She shoved past him following my two little brothers

"You better hurry up with those bags D/n." She yelled with a laugh, my dad sighed, turning to the trunk and pulling out at least four big bags

"Can I help?" I asked, reaching out one hand, my left one being busy with a bag of marshmallow, ready for him to drop a bag in to my right hand

"Are you sure? These bags are pretty heavy." My dad joked, I nodded my head eagerly as he laughed lightly

"If you insist." He picked up one bag that seemed to be the lightest and set it in my right hand

Right as he let it go I slightly stumbled but quickly regained my posture

"Well, let's go then! Don't want your brothers and mom to wait." He chuckled, closing the cars trunk and locking the car before walking in to the forest, me being not so far behind
