Chapter 2: Love and crushes

7:00 AM at Niji EN high school's hall

"OH COME ON! I WON! ACCEPT IT UKI!" Shoto bickering with the purple hair boy with heterochromia eyes: "STFU YOU B*TCH!! THAT WAS SOME DIRTY PLAY THERE." Shu just looked at his friends and sighed. His two friends were just furious after the UNO game last night. It's something familiar to him so he doesn't mind at all. He then heard the sound of a group walking past him and chatting with each other. Maybe about games and stuff, you know, friends thing.

Shu then saw a blonde boy taller than him, walking past him with a bright smile while talking with his friends. Shu couldn't help but smile, feeling butterflies in his stomach. He always loves that smile, ever since his first year. It brings him warmth, just thinking about the blonde boy's smile makes his face burns up. Like people always say:

"𝓦𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓘 𝓼𝓮𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾, 𝓘 𝓪𝓭𝓶𝓲𝓽 𝓘 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓶𝔂 𝓰𝓻𝓲𝓹 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓸𝓯 𝓶𝔂 𝓬𝓸𝓸𝓵."

Shu stared at the shadow of that boy before hearing some "coughs" and teasing from his friends. "Ooh~ Is our seiso, unmovable boy falling in love with someone?~" Shoto just be him- teasing his friend. Uki smirked, also joined in: "Ooh~ Who can make our precious boy feel like this? I wonder, hm?~" Uh oh, Shu could feel his face red, really red, like a tomato. "W-W-WHAT ARE U GUYS TALKING ABOUT!? HAHA ME!? AIN'T NO WAYYYY" Well, Shu really sucks at lying, especially when he is flustered, right this moment. Shoto and Uki just exchanged looks, and they both knew what thing they had in their mind: Finally, we have something to tease him now.

"Ehem, don't act like you two don't have a crush or something." The three boys were kinda surprised by Yugo suddenly appeared. Alban silently tried to walk away, but soon gave up when Yugo grabbed his hoodie hat. "Neko-chan, you think you can run?" Alban pouted, then said hi to all his friends. Yugo looked like he has already had enough, looked at his strawberry milkshake before looking at his friends and talking with a calm but kinda scary voice: "We're gonna talk about this "Lovely stuff" later." They all nodded, knowing that they are gonna be so doom after the first class. They then walked toward their class, which is Chemistry.

7:45 AM at the school Building A's garden

"Oookay, so. I need. All of you, please, just confess to your crush or something. You guys are making my eyes painful here." Yugo just couldn't take it anymore, his friends are just pining for other boys, he just kinda wished they all had boyfriends so he can feel happier for not seeing them simping anymore. There was just silence, not until Alban spoke, which was a bad idea: "Hey! I have you know, I'm not simping or loving anyone okay!?" Sometimes, the tsundere side of Alban really digs everyone's grave. "Oh yeah, Neko-chan. Then what's with you and your Onii-chan?? The fucking captain of the student council's discipline team with highlighted hair??"

Oh my god. Everyone except Yugo was too stunned to speak, they were simply shocked by the words the blue hair boy said. Alban's face was all red, tried to say something to save him from his own grave that he dug for himself but unfortunately, it was too late. "Oh my god. You meant THE Sonny Brisko!? But I'm curious, how did you know about this Yugo?" Uki remained shocked face, but soon calmed down to ask Yugo, low-key scared for him now. "I mean, Neko-chan here always goes to school late, like every SINGLE time. But is it weird when he never gets caught? That's when I saw him and that Sonny guy talking to each other, he just let Alban go in normally. I can make sure that this boy here just wants to have attention from his little crush." Yugo explained. Alban's head just couldn't take it anymore, he tried his best to hide his face underneath the hoodie. He just wanna get out of here, or maybe come back to 5 minutes ago when he didn't say that sentence.

Shu just giggled and patted the brunette boy to calm him down from the embarrassment. "Aww, it's okay Alban. I mean it's a way to catch your crush's attention though." Alban just groaned, he was too shy to see anyone now. Normally, Uki and Shoto will definitely make fun of Alban, but in this situation, they just can't. Seeing his opportunity, Alban smirked. I will not die alone heheheh. "Hey, but Uki also comes with me, just to see his 'Fuufuu-chan' so I'm just being a really great friend here!" Alban spoke and saw his friend- Uki just widened his eyes and began to talk. "WTF YOU B*TCH! WHY PULLING ME INTO THIS CONVERSATION!?" Uki's face started to turn into redder shade. And well, this is where the fun begins. "Oh, but my Fuu-chan is fine, how about a certain dark purple hair boy drooling over the most flirting boy in this whole school?" Shoto hoped that he won't be included in this thing, but he should know, when Uki was in, he should have expected that. The poor boy was just too stunned to speak and started babbling something that no one could understand. The chaos just began. The two purple boys started their argument, again. The brunette boy just laughed so hard, hardly catching his breath. And then there's the DJ boy, snickering in the background.

Shu just sipped his tea, totally enjoying the scenario in front of him. Yugo just face-palmed: "Oh my god, not you guys exposing your own crushes..." And then, the realization kicked in. After a few minutes of calming down, they started to talk about the topic of love and crushes. And finally, Yugo understood why his friends just didn't confess their feelings. Alban told him that maybe his "onii" Sonny didn't see him as a lover but just as a platonic siblings relationship.

Uki sighed, his eyes looked...sad. "I think I don't have a chance, you know." Everyone was just shocked at his statement. Uki Violeta is always known as a beautiful boy, always has confidence in himself, he even has his own harem. "I always see him go with the highlighted hair boy or a short blonde hair girl. They just look... so happy when talking to each other. I think that's his girlfriend." Alban just silently hugged Uki, while Shu held Uki's hand. They knew how painful to see your crush go on a date with someone else, not you.

About Shoto, he fell in love with Vox- a really popular voice demon at school. And damn. He knew very well how flirty that demon is, considering how he flirts with other girls. And lastly, Shu- a wholesome sorcerer. He met Luca while he was bumping Luca on the way to school one year ago. Seeing the bright smile from the blonde boy, how can't Shu not fall in love with that lovely boy? But he knew, Luca felt kinda tense when receiving gifts and love letters from his fangirls. They love him, everyone adores him because of his appearance, good at sports and really kind, even though he's a Mafia.

"Okay, I know everyone has lovey-dovey issues. But hey, why don't we try for once, yeah? Maybe, you can still have a chance to win over their love!" Yugo felt kinda guilty for asking his friends but his friends just smiled and said It's fine. Knowing his friends lying, the blue hair boy tried to lighten up the mood and cheered up his friends. "But how?" All of them asked. Yugo smiled, and casually said:

"Be their secret admirers. With this, you can stop whenever you want. Kill two birds with one stone. How about that?"
