Chapter 7: Pure luck

For Shu's group of friends, the class seemed just the others, except for one thing. From now on, they will study with none other than their one and only crushes. They all looked at each other, with the same happy but confused look. Just what in the world is this? How can this even happen!? They all wondered if this was just the God of luck standing on their side or just coincidence. But for now, they would prefer ignoring those thoughts to actually trying to gain attention from their crushes.

While they were conversing through their eyes, Shoto stood there, seeing his crush smile and talk to the certain novelist boy and their group of friends. Oddly enough, a part of him was somewhat curious, while the others were just jealous. It hurts him from seeing that scene directly in front of his eyes. Shoto wished that was him talking to Vox, smiling and laughing through small jokes or just normally talking to each other. It was a dream, a dream that would never happen, at least that's what it is for the purple boy. And then, he saw, his crush- Vox Akuma looking his way, maybe to his group of frie- no wait, is he looking at me!? Realization hit Shoto hard. Now that he knew Vox looking at him, I should make an attempt, right?

RIGHT!?

Shoto was still trying his best, malfunctioning himself to find what should he say to the demon. And when he finally found out the best sentence to start a conversation (at least that was in his opinion), he started to talk. "Uhm, hey there, y-" Vox seemed to know that the boy was trying, smirking while looking at the purple boy. He found this boy interesting and quite cute as well, though he was a demon slayer, Vox would never be scared, not at all. But something disturbed him, his brother, Fulgur Ovid, came into the class. They were known as 'Lam Brothers' and their...unique brotherly relationship. Bickering and making jokes at each other were what they usually do. They had opposite personalities: one liked flirting around, while one would rather stay in the dark and only give his love to someone really special and precious to the boy. However, no one can argue about how handsome they are. It was a fact, honestly.

And of course, right at the moment, the white hair boy saw his "lovely" brother, the chaos started right away. "Oh great, time to have some popcorn." Mysta giggled, he knew what was about to happen right now and he loved it. Shu just tilted his head and looked at Mysta. And just only three seconds late, he understood it right away.

"Oh my god, why the f*ck are you here, Fungus???" - "WTF Voxxy!? It's the class I will attend. Don't tell me you are here too..." And then they kept coming towards each other for a long time. It was hilarious but lovely to see a small war between the brothers, just love, but Uki didn't feel like it at all. He felt himself falling into a deep ocean. Ocean of thoughts. It was just like a pinch of black. No lights. No one. Only him. He knew for sure that this wasn't like his usual act at all, but he couldn't forget that time. The smile of his star, laughing, talking with who he called "Heather". How tenderly his crush treat the girl like she was the most fragile thing that he has ever seen in his entire life. It was filled with love, Uki wanted it so badly. He really wanted it, he really do. He wanted to be treated that way, with that smile, that touch, that-

"Uki!" That line brought him back to reality, he saw Shu, looking at him with concern. Right, Shu knew. He was there too. And when the boy looked around, Alban and Yugo were looking at him as well. So, they knew? Like it was a way to say yes, Alban held Uki's palm gently, but no questions came out from the boy. It was just a small touch, but to Uki, it pulled him back to his normal self. Uki couldn't explain how much appreciation he give to the cat boy. He was always comforting or even lighten up the mood of everyone to have fun. Uki swore if someone dares to hurt this boy, they will die under his hands.
