The second & third lessons had just ended. Students started to feel tired but rather than that, they felt happy. Having considered for students to adapt to the school's atmosphere, the student council thought that having three was the most suitable option. Of course, Nina always knows what's best for the students, and always tries her best to make them feel like they are at home. Furthermore, the principal never declines her ideas due to her being well-performed in persuading other people. Nina is just that fantastic person, everyone adores her.

Despite that, Shouto didn't seem to have any positive mood at all even though one part of him felt relieved having less than 1 lesson for the day, which didn't lighten up his spirit. Not at all. Not when he was flooded with thoughts.

Is it good for me to fall in love with Vox? He really is a flirty guy. Do I even stand a chance? Am I good enough to even think I can be with the hottest guy at school? I'm not cute or pretty like the other girls and boys that are drooling over him, I'll never be. I am even a demon slayer, how can I stay with a mere demon? That's just not right at all!

Shoto couldn't stop the voice that keeps echoing inside his head. He just sighed, how is he supposed to take these thoughts away!? It just kept flooding inside his head. Finally coming to his locker, he took his bag and started to put all the necessary things inside. Of course, homework and essay are something he must bring home and do, not waiting to be nagged about this. But well, he couldn't ever guess what was gonna happen next, and neither the boy that had just bumped into him recently.

"OW! Hey, WTF? What are yo-" Oh God. He stopped his complaint right away, just at that moment he saw the man with beautiful golden eyes with long black hair with red highlights just standing right in front of him and was wincing a little in pain just because of the incident few seconds ago. Oh, how could he be mad at the boy, considering that fucking boy was none other than his crush- Vox Akuma.

"Oh, sorry, my boy. I didn't look where I was going. Are you okay?" Even though Vox just casually asked, the dark purple hair boy couldn't get over those lines of him. His charming voice, hair, face, and eyes. Those hands kinda took out and placed on his shoulder, it's warm, really warm. It's endearing in spite of the fact that the demon just worried for him for his mistakes. He just fall so hard for the demon, he was whipped for that man.

" Vox! What have you done, he just looks like he's having a fever right now!" That voice brought Shoto out of his track of thoughts. He could feel his face burning right now. But that didn't last any longer after seeing the person who was standing next to Vox. Ike Eveland- a gifted novelist with smoky hair and blue highlights who has many hidden sides and unexpected depths in his persona. He is generally calm and mild-mannered, but he may be competitive when the circumstance demands it. Everyone respects him, even Shoto, because of his manner and interactions with others. His jealousy rose, thinking about the way he and his big crush talked with each other. There were also rumors that they were friends, or maybe lovers, or even a one-sided crush coming from the black hair guy. Even though the rumors were just rumors, Shoto felt sad about it, and there he goes. Lost in his overthinking mind a thousand times.

"What!? I did nothing, maybe he was falling for me, you know? Right, little boy?" Vox smiled before looking back at the purple boy. Huh. What? He didn't expect that. They just exchanged looks at each other for a while, before the poor boy completed malfunctioning what the man just said.HUH!? Shoto could feel it, his face probably became like a tomato. Did he just flush just from that sentence from that deep voice of a particular demon? "VOX..." Ike sighed, he should have seen this coming from his friend- the most flirty guy in the whole school.

"What did you- a mere demon just s-say!? W-W-Why would I even fall for you!? Stupid demon!" He had to get out of here, he just couldn't handle it. Not today! And then he made his way out of the scene, leaving the novelist and the demon in confusion. "Huh... That was...strange. I really didn't sign up for this. Just let me go home in peace..." Ike let out a small sigh. What a day. He then proceeds to walk to his locker and pack up his things, ignoring the voice demon whined "Hey! Wait up for me!" Vox smirked and looked at the shadow of a certain demon slayer who ran away out of his sight, before catching up with the novelist.

Uki and Shu walked down the hall together after planning some date playing Valorant together, just chatting with each other. However, it never soothed their emotions about a certain topic they were talking about during their break, especially Uki. Of course, being called "Shupport", the mentioned boy had already recognized the bad mood of his friend and immediately asked, "Uki, u good?" Uki smiled to reassure him that he was fine but of course, it never fools Shu. "Tell me Uki, you know you can't fool me with that smile..." Seeing Shu asking full with concern in his voice, Uki sighed. He could never go away with this without telling Shu huh?

"It's...nothing. I just...uh...remember about the previous topic we talked." Seeing Uki hesitate, Shu let his hand rest on the shorter boy's shoulder to remind him that he'll continue listening, so no worries. Uki just smiled, Shu is just so wholesome, willing to be a listener to his pining and some random stories. How come he has such a wonderful friend like Shu? Even though these boys always compete with each other through games, he is always glad to have Shu as his friend. Shu just stayed silent, patiently waiting for the heterochromia boy to continue.

"Well, b*tch, you know. I never want to fall in love with someone so deeply. I always flirt with so many boys out there, but to consider crushing someone? Never in my mind. This might be the first I feel like this, it's kinda...unlike me." Uki said while holding his hands tighter. Shu saw the problem with his friend and tried to encourage his precious friend. But right before he did, some people caught his attention, and so did Uki. Right in front of their eyes was the sight of the grey hair boy with a beautiful red scar on his eye, talking happily with a short blond hair girl. That was Uki's one and only star - Fulgur Ovid, along with him is one of a member of the student council - Millie Parfait.

"They seem...happy." Uki's heart sank. He could his heart breaking apart from the scene." Eyy, maybe they are friends or siblings? You'd never know unless you try, so don't worry okay?" Shu tried to calm his friend down. But that didn't make it better. Shit. Did he say his mind out loud? But honestly, that didn't even matter. "Heather" is still there, his love will forever be one-sided. Feeling his shoulder be held tighter, Uki snapped out of his train of thoughts, only looking at the multi-colored hair one. "Uki! Listen to me. No matter what challenges you are facing right now, you have to make multiple attempts first, right? So don't give up just yet! Where did all your confidence go? Just thought that you're facing a difficult puzzle quiz right now and need to find solutions, alright?"

For real, Shu is one of the best friends that he can ever find anywhere else. "For once in my life b*tch, I'm glad you're here with me." Shu laughed a really adoring laugh, making Uki smile as well. "No problem! Just tell me whenever you're feeling out of blue alright? Just want to make sure you know!" "Shupport" is a really fitting name for the boy. "Oh, for now, I just wanna go home, cook some delicious meals, and rest."

"Hahaha! Then let's go home now, shall we?" Shu giggled and pushed Uki towards his locker. Seeing Uki lightly smile, his support had worked. But forcing himself to look back, he felt his heart sink too. Will my love be one-sided...? Nevertheless, he knew this wasn't a suitable time to think about his issue, he shook himself out of it. Help Uki first, don't overthink, myself. Not the right time.

The shadows of the two boys faded away in the hallway, leaving all their minds away in that place.
