Seven Queens and a Time Lord Part. 2

"Ember!" Cathy called out, fear etched into her voice, "What is that thing?"

Ember didn't dare to turn, "Don't look away," She said, preparing to fire, "You look away, even for a second, and you forget. Don't forget. Its a Silent, a memeber of The Silence. The Silence are a religious order or movment dedecated to the core belfefe that silence must fall when the question is asked."

She heard River standing and moving next to her, River also held a gun, Ember could see her hand shaking slightly, but she quickly steadied it. "I thought I escaped it when I came here." River cocked her gun, "I guess it followed me."

Ember pulled out her sonic, pressed the button, and scanned the Silent. "It used some sort of cheap teleportation." She read, her brow furrowing as she slowly came up with a plan, "Kitty?" Ember asked.

"Yes?" Kitty's voice was shaky.

"I need you to take the sonic and set it to the third setting and then press the button. DON'T take your eyes off of The Silent." She gave a slight gesture to the alien in the doorway and then handed Kitty the sonic.

Ember could hear Kitty adjusting the settings and then the buzz of the sonic, "Okay, now I need you to give it back to me."

"Mhm." Kitty handed Ember the screwdriver.

Ember checked to make sure Kitty had done it correctly, then she adjusted it a little more and pointed it at the Silent. The creature was enveloped in a blue light and then disappeared. Ember turned around and River looked at her.

"Where did you get a sonic?"

"Same way your going to get yours." Ember smiled a little, not really paying attention, she was too busy taking more readings.

"What did you do?" River asked, pocketing her gun.

"Well," Ember started, "I changed the frequencies in the room so that we could remember the Silent and then I reversed the technology that got it there in the first place."
The queens all looked at each other, confused. But River seemed to understand, "I don't think even the Doctor could do that." She smirked, "I can't wait to see what other tricks you know."

After that Ember had left River in the throne room, she quietly slipped away and the six Tudor queens followed. But on the way back to the TARDIS the same guard from before stopped them.

He seemed extremely mad as he grabbed Ember's wrist, "You little shit."

Ember scoffed, "You've had about two hours, I thought you would have a better pickup line by now."

"I could kill you if I wanted too." The guard scowled, trying to sound intimidating.

"So could someone else, a dog could, even a dedicated duck. You're not special." Ember pushed past him, not giving the guard a second thought.

Back at the TARDIS Ember turned to face the other queens, "So, what did you think of your first adventure?"

"It was SO COOL!" Anne laughed.

"I agree with her." Cathrine smiled a little.

"Wait." Anna looked at the two, "Aragon agreeing with Anne?"

"That's illegal." Kitty frowned.

Ember just laughed, "Why don't we get y'all home now." She pulled some levers and pushed a few buttons, the TARDIS shook and landed.

But before they left the TARDIS Cathy stopped her, "Um, Ember?"

"Yeah?" Ember turned to face the older woman.
