"Do try to convince father and mother to abandon this union." Aegon told Helaena. "But I think it is quite impossible."

"Sometimes I think six impossible things before we break our fast." Helaena countered. Aegon stared at her a moment longer before groaning and getting another drink.

"Impossible," Aemond mused.

"One, that Aegon is not a terror."

"Impossible." Aemond agreed.

"Two, I will get to fly like a butterfly."

"I mean, you have your dragon." Aemond countered.

"But its a different kind of flying," Helaena informed him. "Three, cats can talk."

"Impossible." Aemond agreed.

"Four, I will travel the world and be the first to find a new insect." Helaena said softly and Aemond's smile faltered.

"That doesnt have to be impossible." He countered gently.

"Five, I will get to marry for love." Helaena went on. "Six, wonderland is real." she whispered the last one so softly she barely heard it herself.

Aemond thought her dreams of wonderland were quite extravagant. He wished the place was real. He loved his sister, she was a bit odd but she had a good heart and a vibrant imagination. Aemond wished he was more like her at times. He did as he was told, he trained hard and studied harder, he tried to be perfect while Aegon got all the special treatment and ran around getting drunk and insulting and humiliating his family on a daily basis.

Aemond didnt like when Aegon bullied him but seeing Helaena so heartbroken made Aemond even more depressed. He watched her get up, peering in the soil before crouching down.

Their mother didnt understand Helaena obsession with insects, Alicent had tried for a time to bond with Helaena but they truly had nothing in common, their father wasnt all there, then there was Aegon. He wanted to make both of their lives hell. Aemond thought he got off on their pain.

''Hand turns loom; spool of green, spool of black; dragons of flesh weaving dragons of thread. Hand turns loom; spool of green..." Helaena remarked finding a spider on the ground she eased it into her hand. Creatures trusted her, liked her company she thought at least.

Between her strange dreams of Wonderland her words that seemed like nonsense to everyone but her of course Aegon loathed the idea of marriage to her.

Helaena was decent enough to look at Aegon thought as he stared back at her but then she opened her mouth, she was mental, Aegon knew that for a fact.

''We have nothing in common.'' Aegon scoffed downing his drink

''She's our sister.'' Aemond reminded him

''You marry her, then.'' Aegon sneered grabbing another drink

''I would perform my duty, if mother had only betrothed us.'' Aemond said obediently, he would treat her right but it was not his say or Helaena's who they wed.

''If only.'' Aegon agreed with a scoff.

''It would strengthen the family. Keep our Valyrian blood pure.'' Aemond reminded him, but was a lifetime of pain being married to Aegon worth keeping the bloodline pure? Aemond didnt think so.

''She's an idiot.'' Aegon corrected, "Mental, completely insane, a mad woman she is."

''She's your future queen.'' Aemond retorted as he resisted the urge to slap him over the head.

''We actually do have one thing in common. We both fancy creatures with very long legs.'' Aegon mused with a chuckle as he walked off, leaving Aemond to sneer at him hatred.

''Wench! Another!'' Aegon declared clasping his hands together joyously.

''Aegon.'' Aemond hissed

''...dragon's flesh, weaving dragons of thread." Helaena went on trapping the spider between her hand and a geode. She stared up at her brothers, Aemond offered her a small smile as he sat beside her. She opened her hand just a bit to show him.

"Pretty." Aemond remarked.

"Beautiful colors, I have to check the book." Helaena remarked. "I don't think I've seen this one before." she informed him happily.

Aemond thought back to Helaena's impossible things of the day. Marry for love. That was impossible, he knew she would never grow to love Aegon, not how he was and if today was any indication, Aegon would never change.
