We're throwing Bella her 2nd birthday Henry moved somewhere far to keep Edwin safe lately we've been going on dangerous missions and dangerous people know most of our info so that's the safest option he had

We still keep in contact with each other he's going to visit us in 2 years though he wants to keep a low profile for a while

Lathan and I have been getting close he tries proving himself to be a good father figure and he tries making me happy which is kinda working to the point I think I'm starting to catch feeling for him again

We're throwing Bella her birthday at a rented house that has a big yard I was putting the thing up with my friend's help

After we got things done people started coming in with their kids they're the people that work with us they brought presents food and more I went inside to help my mom

I heard the door knocking I went to go open it when I did I saw Lathan I haven't told them about him and about us I looked behind us to make sure no one sees I closed the door

You- what are you doing here

Lathan- it's my daughter's birthday

You- yeah and the whole headquarter are here you have to leave

Lathan- fine but when it's over stop by the house

You- fine just leave

When I was about to go in he stopped me by grabbing my hand I looked at him he had a bokay of roses I looked at him

Lathan- they're for you

You- thank you, Lathan

He kissed me and left I put the roses on the counter lucky no one noticed him when I went outside there were more people than I noticed it was probably my mom who invited them

After Bella's party was almost over I saw someone throw a gas bomb it started spreading people were coughing my only concern was Bella I went to go look for her people took cover some were trying to leave then I heard gunshots

I saw Bella playing with her toys I went over to her picked her up and started walking away from the gunshots I got a text from Mattia saying it was Lathan and that everyone should evacuate

I saw people running out with their kids I can hear my name being called I had Bella in my hands still more gunshots were being fired eventually everyone evacuated the party I got a text to go to the car I got my things and started going downstairs to the garage where they were at

I was in a hurry to keep Bella safe I saw them in the car I started running to the car but heard gunshots from behind I stopped and looked it was Lathan he had it pointed towards us I had Bella's head on my shoulders so she wouldn't see

You- what are you doing Lathan

Lathan- I can't let you leave

I saw the others get off the car and their guns ready I saw the others on Lathan's side come downstairs one shot was fired I went behind the car that was in the garage they started firing at each other I was trying to find a car that was unlocked

I found one and texted them to leave and that I'll be behind them I wired the car I had Bella on my lap I put my seat belt on had a good grip on my baby I drove off the others did too

I saw motorcycles following us I tried losing them then I got a call from Lathan I answered

You- what the fuck

Lathan- all you gotta do is turn back

You -are you out of your mind

Lathan- yeah I am

I hung up I couldn't deal with this anymore I got a call from my mom I picked up

Mom- head towards (adress) there are cops there ready

You- okay

I started driving there they had to take a shortcut I still saw them following me but some were missing what I got to the place they surrounded us they took them in

I went in a different car with Bella they took us to a safe place I got a call from Lathan next thing I noticed was cars surrounding us and Lathan being the last person I saw before blacking out
