Chapter 8

We arrived home and I was emotionless to be corrected as for what I just witness, I witness Brandon

May being bullied by, but then my thoughts were interrupted.

"What's wrong, Sky?" Margaux asked as she stood next to me on the balcony.

"Life, that's what's wrong" I answered while looking at her.

"I think I wanna move back home I can't talk it any more, I want my dad to come back, I want my

mom to not cry at night in bed about dad, I want my family back, I want to know do I have any

siblings, I want...." I added as tears came pouring down my eyes.

"For now just be okay, you don't have to be at your best just okay" Margaux said as she gave me a a

tight hug which I returned.

"Now let's wipe those tears and let us get ready because we have some guests coming?" Margaux

said as we went inside where we started getting ready for what Margaux said guests which I didn't

know who. When both had flats on, with my hair as usual in a wavy bob and Margaux's in a fishtail

plait. We had dresses which were above the knee, we hand charms on and necklaces. We were ready

for our guests.

We went downstairs where my mom was busy setting up the table, she told me that our neighbours,

you know the ones with the mansion that I never saw, was coming over for dinner and I was excited

yet suspicious on who they were but my mother didn't mention any hints nor names or surnames.

It was 18:00pm and the neighbours were coming so Margaux and I decided to watch some TV and

not a minute to spare because 1 minute later the door bell rang.

My mom went to open the door and greeted the May family from what I could hear , what? Wait the

May family like Brandon May, the Brandon May well this was going to be interesting.

My mom called Margaux and I to the door where we were greeted by a hugging Mrs May and no

Mr May only two teenager boys which I think one of them were in college that would the hot guy

that was leaning against the door and was he just so damn good-looking, he was some eye-candy

but then was a awkward also yet nerd Brandon standing next to him.

"Well this is my two sons Reece and Brandon" Mrs May said.

"This is my daughter Skylar and her friend Margaux" my mom said.

"The two beautiful, well dressed girls I just hugged" Mrs May replied, his mom was really polite.

"Come in" my mom gestured.

We made our way to the dinner table where I sat next to Brandon and across us sat Margaux next to

Reece, lucky fish isn't she.

We were served dinner and I was glaring at Brandon where I spotted bruises on his arm and some

little ones on his neck and I felt sad for him so said that a frown formed on my face. I then glared

my eyes to Margaux and Reece who were smiling non stop at each other, but I wasn't getting close

to being jealous at all, Margaux deserves someone good for once in her life after all the cheaters and

assholes she's dated, but lets just hope Reece doesn't turn out like that and well for me they were

non existent, yip you heard me I never had a boyfriend and I don't care if people judge me because

I'm only human.

Dinner was over so my mother decide that Margaux and I should show Reece and Brandon around

the house. Margaux decided she should take Reece and well as for me Brandon, isn't she just a

lucky fish that Margaux.

Brandon and I went upstairs and Reece and Margaux went to the kitchen to do the "dishes", as if

they gonna do the dishes. My mom and Mrs May were in the Lounge.

Brandon and I headed upstairs, we entered my bedroom so I decided to go out to my balcony to get

some fresh air and silence and well as for Brandon, he came after me onto the balcony for the same

reasons I think.

"Are you always this quiet?" I asked him knowing he wouldn't reply.

"No" he answered, what wait, did he just say something or am I going psycho.

"And no, your not going psycho, I did say something" he answered, I should stop doing that.

"How come you almost never talk?" I asked.

"That's an easy answer, firstly I have no friends, secondly no one wants to hang out with a nerd not

even the nerds at school and I get bu-" he answered but he cut himself off.

"Bullied" I continued, I could see the fear in his eyes when I said that.

"I saw them and you" I said

"Your saw the bruises on him at dinner, didn't you" he said.

"That's pretty much it, but that doesn't example why you ignore me at school" I said

"I don't want to ignore you its just that-" he said cutting himself off

"Its just that what?" I continued

"Its because of him" he said

"That's why he was there, just because you bumped into me" he added

After that it was silent, I couldn't believe what I just heard but I was not going to let this continue.

"Give your phone here" I told him and he did

"Here's my number" I answered as I looked up at him and he looked really surprised, I know what

you guys are thinking what the f is she doing, I'm helping

After that I heard my mom call us so Brandon and I headed downstairs where we met Margaux and

Reece who was in the kitchen still doing the dishes, wait what they were really doing the dishes,

that's a relieve she didn't make out with him or anything.

We said goodbye to our neighbours and a very hugging Mrs May also a polite Reece and Brandon,

you heard Brandon was polite enough to give my mom a hug and his Brandon, they also said get

this they both said 'Goodnight ladies' and it was so cute.

We said our goodbyes and we all headed up to our rooms, finally my mom with a little help from

Margaux and I were done with the guest room for Margaux.

I went to my room where I dressed myself in some comfy pyjamas, I climbed in my bed and fell

into a slumber, did I tell you guys how much I just love my bed, I love my bed.
