"I'm bored." Lance whined while he switched off on his phone.

"You did invite us without any plans for a whole week." Lance frowned at Keith as he continued scrolling on social media.

Hunk and Pidge both looked at each other and smirked. They paused their video game on Lance's TV and snickered,

"You wanna play another game of Truth or Dare?"

Lance and Keith both shouted incoherent words at the two, them then cackling at their own hideous teasing.

Never again... Never... Again... Lance and Keith both thought the same thing. Forgetting that was definitely on their New Year's resolution. Their faces were as red as the neighboring houses with bright red Christmas lights.

"How about we go outside?" Hunk offered. Pidge cursed at their checked their phone.

"The fuck??? It's 71 outside."

"71!?" They all announced. Pidge nodded their head.

"I know, right? Texas is such a shit hole."

"That's not that bad. Arizona's way worse." Lance shrugged in his gaming chair.

He could actually speak on it because he used to live there with his relatives. After his mother got enough money to move, he and his 4 other siblings moved to Texas, where he met the group. Although he wished he never moved because of the lost friendships in the state, being friends with the people he's friends with now definitely toned down those frequent thoughts of regret.

He'd always think of meeting Pidge and Hunk. Allura and Shiro.

He'd always think of meeting Keith.

"Come on, we can deal with it!" Hunk got up and Pidge whined.

"I wanna play COD..."

"We can do it when we get home from wherever we're going. Wait- Where are we going, exactly?" Hunk received of wave of shrugs from his friends.

"Gah- I knew we should've came with an itinerary!"

"Calm down, Hunk. Why'd you even want to come here in the first place?" Keith didn't look away once from his phone.

"My mom and dad are visiting my grandparents. They're homophobic, so I didn't go. Besides, how could I not want to hang out with y'all?" Hunk shrugged off the first part.

It was true. Hunk was pansexual and his grandparents didn't support that, so his parents encouraged him to hang out with Lance and the group the whole break. He was very open about it, but his friends didn't know how closeted he was when he returned home from school.

"Ehhh, my situation's absolute hellfire. Matt's off somewhere getting it down with alien chicks and dudes and my parents are going through another major fight." Pidge started to play with their glasses as they spoke.

"Didn't they almost divorce from the last fight?" Lance was a little concerned when asking the question.

"Yeah, all because my dad started drinking again after finding out his best buds didn't make it back from some trip from a far planet. Apparently my dad gets really angry and temperamental when he drinks. Almost hurt me when I was little so he quit."

Pidge looked up from the tip of their nose when no one said a word.

"Woah.. Okay.." Lance rubbed the back of his neck. He knew mentioning it would be a bad idea.

"It's fine. My mom forced me to be here because she didn't want me to get involved. I also wanted to come here to see the romantic build up that's 'bouta happen between y'all." Pidge pointed Lance then Keith.
