20- It would be fun

Lucifer's pov

I had a very important meeting and I got up late. Its not my mistake sleeping beside her made is different kind of peace. I'm happy to finally have good night's sleep. My assistant entered my cabin with a file and her iPad. She started listing the work required to be done today and I listened intently before dismissing her.

I walked out to the conference room where the meeting will be held. The meeting is really very important as we are expanding our hotel chain. We have the land and I have to approve the designs while proposing my ideas for a better and classy appearance.

I have teams to do this but the final decision remains in my and Alex's control. Alex has made his own empire and he have a chain of clubs to look after but he still is a very important part of our company and can take decisions on my and dad's behalf. The meeting ended after three hours and everything went by smoothly. I missed my wife already so as soon as I reached my room I texted her "I miss you baby can't wait to hold you 🥺❤️" I waited for her reply while opening the food she packed.

"I miss you too Lucy, I'll be home soon" her message melted my heart and I was grinning like an idiot when someone cleared their throat. I looked up to see it was Tyler, when did he entered. "I entered when you were grinning like a fool at something on your phone" he replied, maybe I said that out loud. "No you didn't said that out loud I just know what you are thinking" this bastard knows me so well, "what are you doing here Tyler?"

I pressed on his name like his little sister does. He rolled his eyes getting annoyed but replied anyways, "the family day is planned, we would have indoor games some food and then retire to our houses" he winked my way and I knew what he is planning already.

He chuckled and replied, "sure sure it would be fun and yeah before I forget we have invited Anna's bestfriend Rihanna too so behave" I said in a stern tone like I'm talking to a small kid. He flipped me off and cursed something under his breath while walking away.

I laughed and stared at the food in front of me. She is definitely best at cooking I love the way she concentrates on every ingredient at hand. A part of me wants to save her food for myself and the other part wants the whole world to have it.

She would have loved the food more than me. She was a complete foodie and tried a lot of different recipes to create one of her own which she always failed miserably. Still I ate everything she cooked to just support her interest. She was the light of my life and her loss has created a hole in my heart. Anna provided me the comfort and healed my heart without even knowing but she will forever be missed.

I completed my work and hurried home. I can't wait to see my wife anymore. As I reached, the living room was lit up with scented candles and slow music playing in the background made way to my ears. I called out for her "Anna where are you baby?" And I heard footsteps coming from the staircase. She was wearing a teal coloured knee length one piece that had thin straps on shoulder and hugged her waist perfectly. I loved the dress when we were shopping for her but she won't be comfortable so I dropped it back.

While billing she took that and my heart swelled with love, she is ready to fight her demons for me. I will never hurt her and protect her at all costs. She is now right in front of me. Her eyes driving me crazy with the amount of trust and love swirling in them. I pulled her close by her waist and kissed her lips.

It is getting difficult for me to hold myself. She is so beautiful and all mine but I want to feel close to her. To take her physical and mental pain away and give her beautiful feelings and memories to smile at. She kissed me as passionately as I did, her hold on my collar tightened and she moaned when I bit her bottom lip.

She pulled away to breathe and with her tantalizing smile pulled me towards the dining table covered with delicious dishes. That's when I complimented her today's hand made lunch. "Baby your food is so delicious, the wrap you made today was definitely a blast of flavours. Let me kiss your hands" I kissed her hands and then she fed me all the varieties she put her efforts in. Quinoa and avocado salad, chickpea fajitas, burgers with spicy and tangy touch.

I was full with the amount and we both had light conversation while feeding each other. My heart was content here with her beside me. I would forever be thankful to whoever sent her to me. She slowly caressed my back unknowingly which sent shudder of pleasure through my body.

I kissed her and she started pulling at my shirt wanting to feel my skin. I stood up while kissing her and carried her up to our bedroom. The bedroom was lit with candles and the vibe was romantic. I don't think I would be able to control myself today.

She pulled at my buttons and started touching my abs. She was driving me crazy with every touch. I pulled away once and stared in her eyes asking her, "are you sure baby? Do you really want this right now?" She gave a beautiful smile and replied, "yes I want you Lucy, you made me want this. Please make me feel special and beautiful, I want to forget the bad memories and swap them with the best." Her eyes held trust and I promised myself I would make her feel special for the rest of my life.
