Lucifer's pov

"Please make sure everything is as I want it to be." I booked a little cafe where I used to visit when I was a kid. It's our first date and I want it to go perfect. Anna deserves all the happiness in this world and I would give her exactly that. She have gone through a lot and I would serve her only comfort and love for the rest of our lives.

I was busy thinking about our date night today when someone smacked my forehead. "Huh planning kids or the process to have kids?" Tyler asked with a cocky grin. "Why are you here? You ain't working today?" he never gets time for anything.

"Yeah was nearby so dropped here. Your girl is a real sweetheart like you always described about her, never lose her" Tyler never gave advices but when he gave one it really is important. My angel would win everyone's heart she is a pure soul that's the reason I can't keep her in darkness anymore. She deserves to know the truth whatever the reaction be.

"I would never give her up no matter what" I replied with a genuine smile. Tyler got up from his chair and said "lets plan a family day it's been a while I took a break." We planned a family day every month to get some free time from work and spend it with our loved ones.

"Yeah I trust you to plan and ping us about date time and venue, it's better for Anna too." He nodded his head and promised to inform everyone as soon as possible. I got up as it was already time to pick her up. I can't wait to see her.

The house was eerily quiet when I entered. I decided to secretly check on her so ascended the stairs slowly creating no noise. The door was slightly ajar so I peeked. There stood my doll in front of the mirror in all her glory. She wore a pink coloured gown which accentuated her pale skin. Her long hair left open and face void of any makeup. I decided to give her a suprise hug from behind.

As soon as I captured her in my arms her scent calmed my nerves. She flinched but relaxed soon and touched my hands over her stomach. "Hello I was waiting for your call, shall we leave?" she asked in her honey like voice when I saw her through mirror and replied "yes sure everything is ready and awaiting us."

We left our house and arrived the destination. This little cafe held so many good memories and today a new one will be added to the list. I opened the passenger side door and helped her out, she thanked me and we walked in.

While I talked to the manager there about the arrangements I noticed how she was smiling like a small excited kid. She found happiness in little things. I ushered her towards the table at the centre decorated with flowers. We got settled and I asked for the juice and food. "I have ordered things hoping you would like it, just let me know if you want to order something else instead" she gave a small smile and a nod.

I held her hands and gazed in her emerald blue eyes. The light in her eyes showed the trust and happiness she felt in the moment with me. It was wrong to held her secret anymore so as soon as the food arrived we took our first bites and she gave a heart warming grin. She approved every food she ate but god knows she cooks the best.

When she was almost done I looked into her eyes and asked "do you trust me Anna?" she squinted her eyes in confusion and replied "yes ofcourse I do trust you" she held my hand and gave a squeeze. The gesture gave me the strength I lacked. "Do you remember this cafe?" she looked around the place once again but shook her head.

"This is the place we loved to visit as kids" her face morphed in confusion but before she starts questioning I assured her "calm down and listen everything I need to tell you first then we will discuss and you may question. Are you okay here or we should head home?"

She whispered, "I want to go home" I got up and called the manager to pay the bill. Once that was done we settled in the car. The journey back home was spent in thick silence. I was nervous about her reaction and she was definitely confused as to why don't she remember the cafe. We reached home and ascended the stairs to our room.

I pulled her into my lap as we sat on our bed. She held me and I continued "we were best friends when you were four and I was six. That place was our favourite because it was closer to the park we used to play in. After getting tired and hungry we used to visit there. Our friendship became stronger with time and we spent a year together. But after that one day my parents said we won't be meeting anymore." Her eyes were filled with years now and it pained my heart to continue but I know I have to do this.

"A few years later when I was 12 and your parents visited us, I asked them where were you and that's when I understood the reason behind your disappearance Anna" I clearly remember that day when I realised my best friend is so far from me and maybe will never reunite like old days. The pain of losing my first best friend was immense.
