Jayson

"How about this one?" I asked Cam as we stood in front of a camo green Jeep Wrangler. She twisted her mouth and looked at the truck.

"I mean, how much-"

"Cam we already had this conversation. Don't worry about the price" I said running my hand down my face. Sometimes her ass was just difficult. She groaned and examined the truck some more.

"I like it but I would want a different color like a dark blue camo" she said.

"We can do that for you" Tim the salesman said.

"What color you want the seats?" I asked. She shrugged.

"Didn't know you could change the seat color" she said making me chuckle.

"If it's gonna be dark blue let's just do the seats black leather" I said to Tim. He nodded.

"Let me go start the paperwork, I'll call you over when it's time to sign" he said and then went to his office.

"I can't believe I'm going to have a car. I've had my license for all this time, but never had a car" she said.

"It'll make it easier for you to come see me whenever you want" I said.

"Ohhh so that's why you want me to have a car. It's about you" she said walking over and pressing her finger into the middle of my chest. I laughed.

"That and I just wanted to get you something" I said truthfully.

"Normal people don't just buy cars as a quick gift Jayson" she said.

"Well, I don't know if you've noticed but I'm not normal people" I said. She rolled her eyes.

Tim called us over to his office and we signed what we needed to. I paid in cash, and he told us the car would be ready in a week.

"Awesome, thanks Tim" I said shaking his hand.

"My pleasure, you all have a wonderful day" he said. I grabbed Cameron's hand, and we walked over to my G-Wagon. I opened the door for her to get in and then went over to the driver's side.

"So, what now?" She asked when I sat down. I started the car and looked over at her.

"Well, I don't know about you but I'm hungry" I said.

"Well, I could eat" she said making me laugh.

"I know the perfect spot" I said.

"No dancing today?" I asked as she ate her shrimp Alfredo.

"Boy I am so hungry; I didn't have time for that" she said.

"I have to go pick something up from Jaylen's crib. You want to come with me, or you want me to drop you at home?" I asked.

"Home? Wouldn't that be going out your way to bring me all the way back downtown just to drive back to the suburbs" she said. I laughed.

"I meant home like my home" I said.

"Oh. I'll go with you" she said before taking another bite.

"You don't think my home is yours too?" I asked. She shrugged.

"Honestly no, that's your place and I have my place" she said. I nodded.

"It's not that serious babe" she said.

"I ain't say it was, it's just... interesting how you think" I said and then finished off the food I had left on my plate.

"I don't like over stepping Jayson. It was a lot when your mom asked me to watch Deuce. I'm not trying to over insert myself." She said.
