I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

A few minutes later the door swung open revealing Jayson in a white tee, gray sweat shorts, and white Air Force 1s.

We both stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity before one of us spoke.

"Hey, come in." he said. I walked in and I stood there awkwardly not know what to say.

"I'm surprised to see you but happy" he said trying to break the silence.

"Yeah, I... I don't know why I came... I just felt like I had to." I said taking off my shades. He nodded and rubbed his chin as he studied my face.

"Well, come in all the way. We can sit." he said leading the way to the living room of his suite.

We sat on opposite ends of the couch still in an uncomfortable silence.

"Cam, I'm so sorry about everything" he began.

"I was an idiot. I never should've been at that party. I never should've been around her. I never should have abused your trust. I'm sorry. And I want to work things out...if you want to of course." he said as he fidgeted with the drawstring on his shorts. I had never seen him nervous before but he was right now.

"Things would have to be very different between us." I said.

"Whatever it is I'll do it" He pleaded.

"If you want to know exactly what happened-"

"I don't think I care anymore actually, I'm here because I'm willing to work it out. The exact details don't matter because we both know what happened. I want to move forward but you're really going to have to work to get my trust back. And it won't be easy." I said. He nodded.

"I don't expect it to be but I'll do whatever I have to...this past month has been hell for me. I can't imagine not having you in my life forever" he said.

"Honestly, same. That's why I'm here" I said as a tear escaped my eye. Jayson moved closer to me and wiped it from my cheek.

"But, while I'm willing to move forward, I don't want to get back together yet" I said. He sighed.

"Why not?"

"You're not getting me back that easy" I said with a smirk.

"You're going to have to work for this if you really want it" I said. He rubbed the back of his head before crossing his arms over his chest and nodding reluctantly.

"I'm going to get you back Cam, I'm willing to do whatever." He said.

"Good"

We sat in an awkward silence until I decided to think of something to say. Sitting here acting like we didn't know each other was just unbearable.

"You know, that drawing from Deuce hit pretty hard" I said. He smiled.

"I wasn't trying to sway you. He's just been asking for you and then he drew that before I left and asked me to bring it. You know me, I do whatever he say" he said making us both chuckle.

"Oh I know, this is Deuce's world and we're just living in it" I said.

"What you been doing since...." He trailed off.

"Jayson I don't want it to be awkward between us. I mean I know this is an awkward situation but, we can stop acting like we haven't seen each other naked" I said.

"My fault. I'm not trying to be awkward. I just don't know where your head is at. You just got finished saying we not together so..." he said. I scooted over a little closer to him and placed my head on his shoulder.

"I'm not going to act like I'm not upset still and don't want to take some time before we're a couple again. But, I do want you to hold me" I said. I missed his embrace so bad.

He wrapped his strong arms around me and rested his head on mine.

"I hope you still love me" he said.

"I always will."

We decided to get lunch and fill each other in on new things we had missed. I didn't realize how much time had passed while we chatted before I decided to head back.

"It's late, you sure you can't stay?" He asked.

"Jayson, you know that's not a good idea" I said.

"Why not? There's another bedroom if that helps" he said. I sighed and looked at my watch. It was 8 and I wouldn't make it back to my dad until around 10.

"Okay fine. I have my emergency bag in the car. I'll go get it" I said.
