ℍanako strolled through the hallways, the morning sunlight came beaming down on him from the windows. He made his way over to Nene's locker, where she stood talking to a purple-haired girl.

"Do you think those letters have anything to do with the boy that you've been meeting with lately?" She tilted her head while holding a finger to her chin. "Huh? No no, He wouldn't do that." The dirty blonde girl shook her head while waving her hands. "Didn't he confess to you that one time though? Are you sure he isn't just trying to continue persuing you?" Akane sighed. "Oh. He didn't actually mean anything by it. It was to convince someone else." she said to her extremely popular friend.

"Maybe he was just testing how you felt about him to see wether it was safe to actually confess or not? Rejection can be quite painful to people." She pulled out her text book from her locker and walked away waving "Talk to you later Nene-chan! I always like it when you open up to me~." by the time Akane was out of view Nene let out a sigh. "As if." she muttered, fumbling around with her bag.

He didn't mean to eavesdrop, it's he just couldn't walk away when they were talking about his letters, or him for that matter! He felt hot in the face at the moment. It wasn't like he could just go up to her blushing and all! Besides it would look like he'd heard her, and he didn't want her to feel akward around him. While he was lost in thought Nene walked into her homeroom. He still stood not far from her locker, not wanting to go in before he calmed down.

When he finally entered he saw her fast asleep on her desk. His letter folded up in her hands. He moved over to her and sat on the floor. Arms rested on her desk. Did she not get enough sleep? He hoped she was ok. He wished he could make donuts or someting for her like she did to him. But it wasn't as though he could really cook, he never did it much other than at school in home economics class. So all he could really make was an omelette and some cookies, which wasn't impressive at all.

Eventually though, her eyes twitched and she started stirring, signaling she was going to wake up. "mm. Hey hanako-kun." she mumbled while rubbing her eyes, adjusting to the bright classroom. "Sooo~, what's in today's letter hmm Yashiro-san?" he hummed to the sleepy girl infront of him. "Not tellin' you." she wispered at him. She was quite happy to get his letters even if she hid it. "Awwe I just wanted to know what your boyfriend sent ya!" he fake-frowned. "b-boyfriend!" she stuttered out.

"Alright class time for attendance-" the teacher unenthusiastically said, interuppting their conversation. The round-faced girl pulled out the notebook that she used to write her words when they talked yesterday.

"Huh. I thought I slept longer than that."
She wrote before looking to him expecting a responce.

"Nope! I would have woken you up before then, you did say that you had to focus didn't you? I wish I could though, you look like you kind of need it." he looked her up and down and sighed.

"I do?!" she wispered while figdeting to get her phone camera.

"Hey hey! Chill, your hair's just a little messy! I'll fix it so shush!" He waved his hands attempting to calm her.

"Ok.." she muttered running her hair in her fingers before putting all of it behind her.

"hold on, do you have a brush in, your locker? I'll go get it."

"yeah, it's in the small bag sitting on the bottom of the locker." she wrote quickly, then tapped him on the shoulder to get him to look.

Ugh, look at him going through a girl's stuff, Nene's at that. Well, at least he actually had permission this time. He sure didn't when Hanako stuffed the letter in the locker the first time. Though I bet she'd let just about anyone who wanted to write her a letter put it there. He wouldn't be surprised if he found out she had a raging shoujo manga obsession. She did always talk about hot boys falling from the sky didn't she? What a silly girl. He smiled.

Once he found the hairbrush and a few hair-ties that he put on his wrist for easy grabbing, he walked back into the room and stood behind the dirty blonde girl. The ghost pulled out her hairpins and set them on her desk, then brushed out her hair just like he was running his hands through water. He rid it of all knots and tangles and then separated it into two sections.

He paused for a split second, her ears were red. How cute. She really was perfect wasn't she. He then pulled one of the sections and wrapped the hair-tie around several times making sure it held the hair up. He then went on to the second section repeating what he did before. He then shifted to the front of the desk to look at the results. She looked pretty as always. He grabbed the little black pins and put them on each side of her head. He wispered a quick sorry for getting in her way of the board where the teacher taught.

"Thank you Hanako-kun" she wispered as the boy plopped down on the floor next to her seat. "No problem miss!" he leaned his head on her legs still smiling.
