𝕋he time that it took to get to the classroom doorway felt like it took too long and yet too little at the same time. He frowned when her hand left his. When she sat down she covered her face with her hands. Ok, Hanako might have been an idiot, but i wasn't that dumb. At least a small part of his love was requited.

Even so, there was no way he was revealing his secret letter writing identity. Honestly, if he did she'd prolly just quit liking him! His letters we quite sappy, even he had to admit. The rain woke him out of his daze. He hadn't known it was going to rain. Sometimes he'd ask Tsuchigomori-sensei what the weather was supposed to be, but he'd always just shoot him a 'go ask your girlfriend.' or something close to that.

It got quite annoying sometimes, so he kinda just stopped. The rain falling added a nice atmospheric touch. The teacher droning on about japanese history kinda ruined it though. It had been so long since he had actually went to his classes, as the rest of his peers graduated a long while ago.

He did go to them though. That year there was an empty seat, his. It was pleasant, nobody to bully him anymore since they couldn't see him. Though it got a little hard when he hit next year as there was no longer a seat to call his.

He listened to Nene tap her fingers on the desk right above his side. It was to a tune he remembered, her ringtone. He'd heard it several times, usually it was her parents, all mad because she always gets home late, and oh anyways where are she right now? Stuff like that. Normally after her parents called she'd have to run home, but sometimes she'd manage to convince them. She'd just say she was hanging out with Hanako, which wasn't wrong, but the right honorifics and he sounded like a girl.

That was one of his least favorite parts of being school mystery number 7. Everyone always talked about him as if he was some chick! Hanako just liked to look at girls in the bathrooms when he was bored! Oh wait... That sounds worse, disregard that.

He laid his head across he legs again. They were big, so naturally they'd have enough cushion to feel nice. "Mm!" She made a surprised noise, how cute. Her finger tapping paused for a bit, she was clearly a little surprised. She was too cute. He couldn't function anymore oh god. She was perfect, too perfect actually. Nene was an angel that came straight from heaven itself. Oh now he felt quite inadequate now. An angel and a ghost who sinned? Hanako had to admit it wasn't the best combo. Good thing she wasn't actual angel.

She was actually just a girl who swallowed something she shouldn't have, turning her into his assistant. Doing his handy-work until she either dies, or graduates. Hanako really hopefully the latter of the two.

They were currently in the middle of her teacher's explanation of complicated math equations. incredibly boring might he add. One of his least favorite subjects during school was math. It was just so insufferable. Nothing in that class ever made sense. It made him groan in his mind. It was easy when he was young, but eventually it snowballed, turning into unspeakable school horrors.

He heard children whispering somewhere in the classroom. It was hard to catch exactly what they said, but he knew hit had something to do with his assistant since her name was thrown about a few times. It didn't sound too pleasant either, something about how she always talked to herself and such. If he only had half a mind he'd go and spook them just about to death. She would get mad at him though, so he had to restrain himself. "Ugh.." The girl beside the midnight-haired boy groaned. "Hm? What's wrong Yashiro?" The ghost boy moved his head off of her leg to look up at her easier.

She pulled her notebook in front of her. and began to write. Not long after, she finished and held the book in a way where he could see, and wouldn't be unusual to people on the far shore of the living.

"We have a test in our science class, but I fortot about it till now so I missed my chance to study!"

The thick-legged girl put her head down on the table making a quiet 'thump'. He frowned. "What's the test focused on?" He cocked his head, making his short choppy hair sway. He left his hat on the ground next to him. "Astronomy." She wispered, her voice was slightly muffled since her head was down. "Oh that's easy, well for me. I love astronomy." he let out a quiet laugh. She immediately jumped up to look at him, a small bit of hair was hanging in her mouth. "YOU DO!?" She grinned excitedly before being interuppted by an angry teacher.

"Is there something wrong Yashiro?" He turned his head to her sternly. "Erk!" The children around laughed at her. "Ahem, so you want some help Yashiro-san?" I smiled at her.
