Hey there, the name's SPARX!

Curious about what I'm up to while lounging on my bed? Well, I was feeling a bit bored and trying to figure out what to do next.

Physically, I'm not exactly turning heads-just your average guy with a slender build, medium height, and weight. I lead a pretty ordinary life, residing in a modest apartment complex that eats up half my salary.

Living alone became my norm after my parents split. Fortunately, my gig as a software developer keeps the lights on and the fridge stocked.

One evening, on my way back from work, a familiar voice piped up behind me.

"Man, today's grind was brutal, huh? Those software bugs really threw us for a loop, and before we knew it, the sun had set."

I glanced back to find a chubby colleague, clad in the same office attire as me. He was a regular at our software development firm, where we banded together to troubleshoot glitches in various programs, apps, and games.

"Yeah, it was a real slog, especially with those bugs causing havoc in the player battlegrounds. I'm off to grab some grub from Mech Ronald's on the way home," I replied.

He nodded sympathetically. "Tough break, buddy. You ought to consider finding a girlfriend sooner rather than later. Oh, and don't forget to check out the new SMMORPG-it's a real game-changer."

His words left me feeling a tad awkward, considering my nonexistent dating prospects. As for the game recommendation, it was one I'd heard countless times before.

Not one to disappoint, I decided to give it a shot. After picking up my burger and coke, I swung by a nearby game store and snagged the SMMORPG game chip.

Back in my apartment, I kicked off my shoes and headed straight for a refreshing shower. Five minutes later, I was chowing down on my burger, perusing the game chip's accompanying guide and info packet.

SMMORPG, short for Survival Multiplayer Mass Online Role-Playing Game, was all the rage in Asia's VR gaming scene. The setup involved electronic headgear and gloves, available in a myriad of colors to suit users' preferences.

The game boasted an impressive array of features, including various characters, customizations, classes, achievements, races, servers, magic systems, and customizable weapons. Having dabbled in RPGs while bug-fixing, I was familiar with the basics.

After polishing off my meal and gulping down the last of my coke, I washed up and donned my VR gear. Placing the game chip in its designated slot, a bright light enveloped me, and a bubble appeared with a simple yet tantalizing message:
