*Yawn* Good morning~

*I wake up, stretching in bed.* Today's going to be fun! I can already feel the excitement bubbling inside me as I think about the adventures that await.

I emerge from my room to the warm greetings of my parents, their smiles filling the air with a sense of comfort and love that only a family can provide.

"Oh, hello, sweetie! Good morning!" my mom says cheerfully, her eyes sparkling with affection.

"Good morning, Mom," I reply with a sleepy smile, still shaking off the remnants of sleep from my mind.

"Well, go brush your teeth and sit at the dining table," she instructs gently, her voice carrying the gentle authority of a mother who knows what's best for her child.

"Okay, Mom," I nod, heading to the bathroom to freshen up.

My mother, a diligent homemaker, runs a popular kimono shop in the city. Her craftsmanship is renowned, and her shop is always bustling with customers eager to purchase her beautiful creations. Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to take care of our family with unwavering love and dedication.

Meanwhile, my father is a martial arts teacher at a local dojo. His passion for martial arts is evident in everything he does, from his precise movements in training to the wisdom he imparts to his students. He often trains me in self-defense techniques, instilling in me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and respect. I cherish our training sessions together; they are not just lessons in martial arts but also lessons in life.

As I brush my teeth, I catch a glimpse of my father eating lunch in the kitchen. He'll be heading to the martial arts school later to teach his students, passing on his knowledge and skills to the next generation of martial artists.

My parents have always looked out for me, guiding me with their wisdom and nurturing me with their love. I'm turning 11 in six days, and I'm filled with excitement at the thought of celebrating with my family and friends.

I've always been fascinated by martial arts and jade stones, ever since my father introduced me to them at a young age. The intricate movements of martial arts and the vibrant colors of jade have captured my imagination, inspiring me to learn more about their history and significance. For my last birthday, my father gifted me a colorful jade pendant, a symbol of his love and a reminder of the values he has instilled in me.

Done with brushing, I join my parents at the dining table for lunch. The aroma of my mother's cooking fills the air, tantalizing my taste buds and making my stomach rumble with anticipation.

"What's for lunch, Mom?" I ask eagerly, my mouth watering at the sight of the delicious spread before me.

"The usual: curry, salmon sushi, onigiri, and dango for dessert," she replies with a smile, her eyes twinkling with pride at her culinary creations.

"Yay, let's eat!" I exclaim, digging into my meal with gusto, savoring each mouthful with delight.

I sit next to my father, who is enjoying a hearty meal of curry, tuna sushi, onigiri, and sake. He looks at me with a twinkle in his eye, a silent understanding passing between us.

"Here's your lunch," my mother says, placing a plate in front of me.

"Thanks, Mom!" I chirp, already reaching for the nearest sushi roll with eager anticipation.

As I eat, I hear my parents discussing an upcoming martial arts competition at my school.

"Hey, are you ready for the competition?" my father asks, his voice filled with pride and encouragement.

"Yes, it's an inter-school contest. I've been practicing my martial arts diligently, and I feel confident in my abilities," I reply confidently, a sense of determination shining in my eyes.

"But are you learning martial arts because of the competition, or are you competing because you've learned martial arts?" my mother interjects, her voice gentle but probing.

"If the students against me use some higher ranking martial arts it might cause me some trouble"

"But Will you lose?" my mother asks, her gaze searching mine for any signs of doubt.

"Nah, I'd win," I reply with determination, a steely resolve in my voice.

"We'll see at the competition," my father says with a smile, a hint of pride in his eyes.

"I'll practice until I peak," I declare, setting down my chopsticks with a determined clack.

"I can help you when I get back from school," my father offers, his voice filled with warmth and encouragement.

"Thanks, Dad!" I exclaim, feeling a surge of gratitude and determination coursing through me.

"Our daughter will win, right?" my mother says with a playful smile, a hint of mischief in her eyes.

"Of course, who do you think I am?" I reply with a laugh, feeling a sense of confidence and excitement building within me.

"Hehe, I can't wait!" my mother says, her eyes sparkling with anticipation as she looks forward to the upcoming competition.
