"enid and i plan on sneaking out. i have a plan to go to the gates mansion and figured you would want to come after what you told us." wednesday said. 

"i will come. i need to know if it is there or not." raven said. 

wednesday had tyler pick up her, enid and raven. raven had never really spoken to tyler outside of outreach day because of how shitty him and his friends were to xavier last year. tyler drove them to the gates mansion. neither tyler or enid had that plan in mind but raven knew what wednesday was up too. 

when approaching the house, raven could feel almost a pull towards the house because of her soul self, "i can feel it." raven looked at the three. 

"feel what?" tyler asked. 

"my soul self." raven sighed. wednesday and tyler both failed to open the door. raven sighed stepping forward, before she kicked down the door. "woah, that was badass." enid said. 

raven laughed as enid smiled at her. wednesday turned the lights on which flickered non stop. enid took the cloth off of a car. a blue cadillac. "that's the car that hit the mayor." wednesday and raven both said. 

"okay, this just took a dark turn." enid said, "we need to call tylers dad right fucking now."

"why?" wednesday asked. "so he can take us back to nevermore and get me expelled and raven suspended? not gonna happen." 

the four of them walked around the house and it looked like it hadn't been touched since they all died. they made their way into the office where a family portrait hung on the wall. 

they then made their way into a library, where wednesday clicked a button on the bookcase revealing a secret room. the pull that raven had been feeling had gotten stronger as they were in the house. 

"who doesn't have a spooky built-in alter in their family library?" enid said. 

"mine is in the living room." wednesday said. "more seating for year long dia de los muertos."

raven shone her flashlight on the walls, showing letters written in either blood or paint. it said "blood will rain when i rise." raven couldn't help but feel as if her dad might be involved in this she didnt know why but she didn't say anything. "its still warm." wednesday said. "alright tyler you check the rest of the floor. rae, enid and i will search upstairs." the three girls headed upstairs. tyler agreed and the three girls headed upstairs. 

"all right, you go left and raven and i will go right." wednesday said. 

"you seriously wanna split up? in here? that is literally how every best friend dies in a horror movie." enid basically whimpered. 

"ill go with enid." raven spoke up. the girls split up. raven held her flashlight and shone it in all the rooms. they seemed pretty normal, like what you would expect from an abandoned home.

"i hate this." enid said. "can you still feel it?"

raven nodded, "i just can't tell where."

wednesday called the two girls names into a room. 

"the beds made." wednesday said "no dut or cobweb."

"lg?" raven asked getting the other twos attention to the music box.  

"laurel gates." wednesday said. "looks like somebody moved back into their old room."

"its not possible. she died twenty five years ago drowned overseas."

an object shattered causing them to both turn their attention away from the music box and running downstairs. "guys get out its here." tyler yelled, as the creature could be heard growling. 

the three girls jumped into the dumbwaiter waiting for the creature to go away. it didn't and wednesday used her snood to tie around the door handles. suddenly the strings snapped, sending the dumbwaiter and the three in it shooting downwards. 

the feeling raven had been having was stronger than ever. they were in some sort of lab but definitely one that was not legal. she looked over and in a jar was her soulself. raven quickly grabbed it smashing it on the floor. her soulself wrapped around her body before it went into her chest. raven felt whole again as her hair stayed white and the gem reappeared on her forehead. 

"raven? what?" enid asked. 

"i dont know." raven replied. she didnt know why her hair didnt go back to blue. all of a sudden they heard the creature and enid and raven crawled out the window. 

"what are you doing?!" enid yelled to wednesday, who stayed behind, looking at the glass jars on the shelves. 

"these are the body parts missing." wednesday said. 

"come on!" 

wednesday finally jumped through the window before the monster could get to her. the three of them ran back to tyler who they found with a few scratches across his chest. wednesday sat down next to tyler when xavier appeared behind them. raven sighed in relief at the sight of her boyfriend. 

"here take this." he handed tyler his scarf. 

"where'd you come from?" wednesday asked. raven ran to him and he wrapped an arm around her, holding her tightly to his side. 

"what happened to him?"

the five of them went back to tyler's house. raven was squatted in front of tyler as she placed her hands on the scratches, her magic glowed a soft white now. raven really didn't know what was going on but she felt almost light with these new powers. 

"i prefer to dissect dead bodies but raven here preferes to heal people." wednesday said. xavier watched them and he couldn't help but feel jealous but he didnt know why because he knew raven was with him not tyler. 

enid spoke up, "not to make this about me but i am having a full blown panic attack right now. we need to get back before weems releases we've been gone."

on cue, sheriff galpin walked in. "what the hell happened?" he asked. "this was your fault wasn't it?" he started to walk over to wednesday. 

"wait, dad. please. im okay. raven healed me." tyler said as raven stepped back to reveal tylers now healed chest.

"sheriff, i understand you're upset but i think you need to see something." wednesday said. 

xavier, raven and enid were dropped back off at school and wednesday took the sheriff to the gates mansion to show him what they'd found. the three had a conversation with weems and thankfully raven went unpunished. weems was happy to see the girl had her powers back. 

xavier snuck raven into his room because she said she didnt want to be alone right now. "its weird." she said as the two laid next to each other, xavier running his finger through the demons white hair. "i feel almost light with my powers back like before when i had my powers it felt heavy but it doesnt anymore. plus they are white now, which is cool i guess." 

raven had filled xavier in on how her powers had gotten back. "you seem more like yourself in the past hour you have had them back." he said. 

"in a good way or bad way?" she turned to face xavier. 

"in a good way." he kissed her. raven smiled before pulling him into a deep kiss. she was in love. 

xavier pulled away, "rae?"

"hmmm?"

"i love you."

raven smiled, kissing him again as he pulled her on top of him. she pulled away but still was close to his face, "i love you xavier thorpe." xavier smiled pulling her into a kiss. they were so in love.
