G E N E R A L P O V
It's at the crack of dawn and most people are still sleeping, but this one man and his group. The commotion of moving would wake anyone up except this time, this group is skilled with stealth hence they are making little to no noise. They were skilled in moving without being seen hence moving at the crack of dawn.
Even though it was mentioned that most people were asleep, there was one family who's already up. The man who was supposed to be on his way to work in an hour woke the whole family up, including the little 3 year old, but they were used to this.
Instead of the three year old throwing a tantrum, the 34 year old asshole was the one throwing the tantrum. No one knows what he is fussing about, but he is clear he is fussing about something.
"Where the fuck is it?" Duri groaned disgruntled. His husband closed their three year old's bedroom door and walked towards the husband and said, "What are you looking for?" Duri ignored him and continued rummaging around the bedroom, making a mess out of everything.
"Duri what are you looking for?" The husband, Taehyung asked. "My red work file? Have you seen it?" Duri asked, now rummaging through the walk-in closet. "No, I'm sorry," Taehyung said and Duri turned around looking really angry. "Then why the fuck were you asking? You are so useless! Make yourself fucking useful and get the fuck out of my way! Better yet! Be a wife and do wifely duties! Like making breakfast or some shit wives do!" He roared, spit flying everywhere, even getting as far as the stunned husband's face.
Taehyung was stunned for a while before he turned around and went to the kitchen, on the way there he saw his daughter hiding behind a pedestal that had a flower vase on it. "Yeongie?" He called out and the lil pup sniffled and answered, "mama?" Taehyung could hear the crack in her voice.
A-Yeong might be too young to understand what was going on, but she understood that her dad was shouting at her mom like he shouts at her when she does not tidy her toys. And that was scary. "Appa mad?" She asked in a small voice.
Taehyung sighed, he wanted to shield his daughter as much as he can from his husbands temper tantrums and verbal abuse. He wanted her to have as much of a normal life she can with a chaebol father, but he seems to be failing. Not only do they get noticed and mobbed when they are out, but their home life isn't better. From his husband's constant cheating, to his temper tantrums and his verbal abuse, Ayeong is constantly seeing this and is getting affected mentally.
"No sweetie, appa is just tired and can't find an important file so he's frustrated," He said to the pup. Ayeong looked confused and muttered, "frus- trus- mama, what word?" Taehyung giggled at the younger. "Frustrated sweetie. It's a grown up word, so you don't have to worry about it okay?" The younger slowly nodded.
"How about we go make breakfast then bake some bear cookies huh?" Taehyung said and Ayeong bounced at the balls of her feet and vigorously nodded he head. "C'mon lil monster," He said and reached out a hand for the younger to hold, to which she did and they went to the kitchen to make breakfast..
A few minutes later Duri came down the stairs on a call. "Thank you so much Siwoo. You're a star. See you at the office," Then he hung up. He had one of the biggest smiles on his face which disappeared when he saw the duo in the kitchen.
Taehyung knew who Siwoo was. Duri's secretary and affair partner. Duri didn't know that Taehyung knew about his affair, but he also didn't seem to be putting effort in trying to hide it. It hurt Taehyung at first. Made him feel worthless, not enough. His self-esteem took a major hit, of course, fueled by the constant verbal attacks.
"Forget breakfast. Siwoo ordered something for me, so I'll eat at the office," He muttered nonchalantly, and Taehyung would've missed it, had it not been this quiet. "Don't expect me tonight, I might not come back," Duri said and took his car keys and left.
