Chapter 41

YOONGI'S STORY (Part 2 of 2)

Growing up at his grandmother's house was not smooth sailing. He might not have been physically abused, but the things that were said to him and how he was treated was bad enough to have a lasting impact on him.

Yes he had the privilege of a roof over his head, branded clothes, food in his stomach, but never heard a single positive word from his grandma.

By three years Yoongi had private tutors who were teaching him how to behave, how to respond and how to do various things in a formal manner. The Min family was of high status, so they had many public appearances, so Minji couldn't have an 'unmannered' child tied to their name.

By four years old, Yoongi was already learning what second graders were learning. He was so close to mastering the art of hangul, so Minji saw that as an opportunity to brag by enrolling the toddler in tutorials.

Yoongi had no childhood whatsoever. His first four years he was so imbedded in books that not even a seven year old could even understand. Let alone read. Yoongi was a genius. A prodigy. It's sad that his grandmother took advantage of this instead of nurturing it.

At five years old Minji dropped Yoongi at the doorstep of the Jeon Household. She had done a thorough research on who Yoongi's father was and found out that it was Jeon Seojin. He found out more about the man and where he lived before dropping the toddler on the doorstep (The gate since she had to go through security) with just a note.

Little Yoongi was found crying his little lungs out with the smallest suitcase in hand and a few documents proving him to be Seojin's baby and other important documents and a letter stating that Minji couldn't take care of the Yoongi anymore. 

In the letter, she had said it was because she was getting old and couldn't take care of the toddler, but upon research by the the Jeon's, they found out the Min's had gone bankrupt.

Minji was a stay at home mom, so when her husband died, she had not stable income and the spousal benefit was not enough for both her, Yoongi and a thousand tutors that were hired for the toddler, along with with maids and staff.

She then fed the public BS about how Yoongi was spending time with his father and their extended family, and they asked for the public to give them privacy as Yoongi is still young. This was only after the press and the public noticed the absence to the prodigy.

Meanwhile at the Jeon household, the eldest Jeon was livid when he learnt that Seojin had actively denied and rejected his own flesh and blood. The screw up, continued to reject the toddler even when proof was given to him.

This made his mad even more angry. He, the eldest Jeon, disinherited Seojin from his will and everything he was bound to get as an heir, let alone legacy. He, however, did not disown him. He gave the alpha a chance to make things right and spend time with the five year old pup. To which Seojin refused.

Instead, he spit on his dad by stealing from him, betrayed him and lied to him, making him lose a lot of money.

It was around this time where Jeongmin killed the twins' mom, grandfather and himself. Jeon Senior had just taken over the Choi gang and was getting used to the ropes when Seojin betrayed him.

He stole important documents which had information about the gang and its operations and other important information such as shipments, bank accounts, suppliers and many more. This almost caused the Choi gang its entire earnings, the pack members and its credibility.

This killed the elder Jeon slowly, which lead to his early grave. Enemies had infiltrated the Choi base and caused havoc. They opened fire on the members, stole the pending weapons shipments, stole a bunch of accounts and killed the then godfather, the elder Jeon.

The twins, Hwasa and Namjoon, were devastated. Namjoon and Seokjin had just gotten married, and Hwasa had started his training. The fated mates had also just finalised the legal adoption and traditional adoption of the twins. Their guardianship had just been bestowed to then not long prior.

This was when the younger twins were around 6 and Yoongi was now seven years old. All three were trying to adapt to the new environment when they lost their grandfather to a gruesome attack. Yoongi had literally started warming up to the old man.

This caused confusion and instability amongst not only the Jeon family members, but the pack members as well. Members of the syndicate. However, Namjoon stepped up and took over.

He rebranded the syndicated and called it Majime. He grew it to be a large and powerful organization. He restored the once disrespected name of the Jeons. Paid a few foes a visit. And returned a few favors.

He made a name for himself. Everyone knew the name Kim Namjoon, but everyone bowed to the name Jeon Namjoon. They shivered to anyone even so much as whispering said name. He. Made. It.

Back at home, he bonded with the young three. Him and his mate. Seokjin spent most of his time with them, trying to get them to settle down. So it was no surprise when they warmed up to the omega first.

Even with Yoongi warming up to the mates, he had called them Hyung. Even when the twins called them papa and appa. He didn't know what those meant emotionally, thus he couldn't address them as such.

He was never taught how an eomma or appa acted or behaved. It was tragic. Even through this, the fated mates loved him as their own. Seokjin did not carry by choice, he now had three baby boys and they were his own. No one can dispute that.

Seokjin and Namjoon tried everything to ease up Yoongi, but they only reached through in his teens years. They were ecstatic, even though he hadn't addressed them as parents, that was not the mates' endgame.

Yoongi showed interest in guns when he was sixteen years old. Namjoon had taken him to base on a whim. They were on their way back home from Yoongi's basketball practice when Namjoon recieved a call from his secretary that he was needed at base, ASAP.

Regardless of Namjoon being in control of Majime and their company, he still made time for his family. And when he was home, no work was allowed, unless it was an emergency.

Yoongi had wondered off as soon as they arrived at base, and ended up at a shooting range section. Where they did their target practice. 

As mentioned before, Yoongi was a prodigy. Anything he attempted or rather had an interest in, he succeeded. Thus he held a gun, aimed, shot and hit the target. First try. Leaving everyone in the vicinity in awe.

Namjoon was quickly notified of this to which he could only think, "Seokjin i going to kill me." He begged Yoongi not to tell the omega, but alas, Seokjin had a way of knowing things, so he drew it out of Yoongi.

Namjoon slept in the couch for a week.

The Jeon family grew together. Became tight knit. Had each other's back. It was them against the world.

When Yoongi was 21, he gained his guardianship. (Sorry I don't remember the age😭😭😭).
