His eyes widened to the maximum. He couldn't believe his eyes. There was no way.
"B-bear?"

The young omega was no different. He had finally recognized the man. And he couldn't believe his eyes. They were swimming with a hint of betrayal, hurt and anger. What the hell was he doing here? He wondered. Was he here all along?
Taehyung was perturbed, too stunned to speak. His ears were ringing and he could hear his heart beating loud and clear in his ears. His face was heating up, his hands getting sweaty. He head felt like it was either spinning or falling off his neck.
And whose scent was it that was so freaking bitter and pungent? It smelt a mixture of burnt or spoilt. Was it coming from the intruder? Or the omega?
Taehyung came to his senses when he saw the man approaching him and Namjoon. "Don't you f-freaking come any closer," Taehyung whispered. With a crack to his voice.
The man looked somber and tried to reach for the omega, "B-bear -" he was cut off by the young omega shrieking and plastering himself to Namjoon's side, to which the elder alpha embraced the omega who was now ready to jump into the alpha's arms and hide forever.
Everyone else in the room was perturbed at what was happening. Did the two know each other? What had the man did to the omega? Did he do something bad?
This were, but a few, of the questions that were going through the minds of the mansion occupants.
"Bear please let me-" The man started but was cut of by the pitiful voice of the omega. "Don't you even think about it. I-Is he h-here?" The omega enquired, and the man's look was enough for the omega.
Taehyung put a hand over his mouth to muffle his cries. Then he turned to look at the leader not far behind the imposter.
It was a look filled with hurt, betrayal and uncertainty. He was uncertain if the leader knew what was going on, and if he did, did he do this on purpose.
Sobs built up on his throat, threatening to choke him. Tears building up on the corner of his eyes, burning them, as they were both unwelcome and unwanted.
He didn't want to cry. He didn't cry for the past 7 years and he won't start now. He won't. He won't. He won't.
He kept repeating that mantra as if to convince himself. To reassure himself. To protect himself.
"Taehyung please," The man croaked. Taehyung shook his head, tears finally streaming down his face. They burned. Oh they burned so bad, hence Taehyung aggressively wiped them as soon as a lone tear hit his exposed neck.
"Don't you ever, e-ever come near me," The omega choked out. Straightening his back, pulling his shoulders back and holding his head high. Even through all this, Namjoon could feel the younger's hand trembling.
He was proud of the Younger standing tall, even though he had no clue what was happening. However, he knew there was history between the two, and it didn't seem to be all sunshine and rainbows.
"Jinnie, please take the pup to the bedroom I'll be there in a few," Namjoon began as he felt Taehyung's hand tighten. Then he turned to the two men in the dining hall, "You two, my office, Now."
