(PLEASE BE WARNED, THIS CHAPTER HAS A FEW COF SPOILERS, Not major since I've already hinted at them in CoF but they are spoilers nonetheless.)
"Uh..." Joshua trailed off as he looked around the room to see if they were messing with him.
"Appa are you serious?" He whispered. "If this is about when I took the Miami mission without telling you? I said I'm sorry though," He bargained, causing Namjoon to roll his eye and fall back to his chair.
"That's not It Shua," Namjoon said exasperated. "Remember when we were talking about how there is probably multiple universes but there is no way of knowing?" Jimin and Joshua nodded.
"Well Jeongguk is from one of those universes," Namjoon clarified. "He seems to be from a different universe, same year but different timeline."
"Cool!" Joshua exclaimed with wide shining eyes.
"Uhm," Jeongguk hummed, he was starting to feel a little bit uncomfortable. Everyone was talking about him as if he was in the same room as them, and it was unnerving.
"Right," Taehyung sighed. "That right there is Joshua, My brother, and his two mates, Seungcheol and Jeonghan Hyungs. Seungcheol Hyung is also your, I mean, Gukkie's uhm... Business partner."
He concluded, before he reluctantly added, "That sums it up I guess."
"Wow," Jeongguk wondered incredulously. "This universe is absolutely different. Like, Completely. Besides the fact that Jimin and I are still siblings."
"Really?!" Joshua had recovered from his confused stupor and was now filled with wonder and curiosity. "What's it like from your universe?"
Jeongguk smiled slightly, reminiscing about where he is from.
"Lili and I got married just two months ago after resistance from both our families, and we couldn't be happier. I love him so much." He reminisced.
"So you're not with Taehyung?" Seokjin asked with furrowed brows. It was a question that was in everyone's mind, but no one wanted to ask.
"UHm, I am?" Jeongguk responded. "I'm from a universe where monarchy and royalty are very much a thing. Thus we have very long and elaborate names," He explained. "Your name is your destiny."
"So My name is Jeon Grimaldi Jeongguk, heir to the throne and Jeon Alistair Jimin's older brother. His name means Defender. He is in charge of Duchies. So he often works with Seokjin Hyung, Kim Montgomery Seokjin, which mean powerful man, and Jung Beaumont Laurentius Hoseok, which means beautiful mountain and Bright one respectively. Both of them are our cousins, from our mother's side."
"Speaking of," He quickly added. "Our parents, King alexander and Queen Aurelia recently stepped down from the crown, making me King and Lilibet Queen, I guess. He likes it when I call him my queen, but his official title is King."
"Who is this Lilibet?" Hoseok asked impatiently. "You said you are with mama, but you keep on saying you are married to this Lilibet. Is Taehyungie like your consort or something?" Taehyung choked on his drink as soon as Hoseok finished his absurd yet valid question.
The twins, who were clinging to their mother, quickly hugged each side of him and patted his back with their tiny hands. "Mama, 'kay?" The little 3-year-old, Jongseong asked his mother.
Jeongguk had also unconsciously rushed towards the omega and patted his back, "Are you okay petal? Should I ask Felix to bring you your green tea?"
Everyone froze at the public display of affection, causing the King to freeze as well. He slowly retracted his hand and sat back down on his seat, "Sorry, force of habit."
