Satan x reader: Fireplace Cuddles

"It's so cold out here!!" "Yeah Y/N hurry up and get d-done doing whatever it is y-you're doing o-out here!!" Shaking your head at Asmo and Levi you sighed, "You two didn't have to come with me, if you want to head back go ahead." Only earning more complaints from the two brothers you sighed, "I overheard Satan saying he wanted to dry deer jerky so that's what I'm going to get." Asmo breathed into his hands as he whined, "You'd be better off just telling him you loved him." Levi piped in as Asmo quieted down to breath in his hands again. "There's no deer out here to begin with how are you not cold anyway?!" Shaking your head you held in a laugh, "Back in the human world I hunted all the time no matter how hot or cold it was. Now if you two could shut up it'd make my hunting more enjoyable." You weren't going to lie you were cold but overhearing Satan saying he wanted to try deer jerky unlocked something inside of you, which made you over-bearably determined to kill a deer before the day was up. Hearing the sound of sticks being stepped on you crouched under a bush making sure to drag Asmo and Levi with you. After a while of being crouched you finally saw them: antlers and not just any antlers the antlers that belonged to what you were waiting for: a deer. Without hesitation you grabbed your bow pulling the string back and letting go you watched as your arrow pierced the deer in the heart. "You two sure you wanna stay while I tie it and take it back to the house?" The brothers looked at each other before sighing and gave you a nod, "Yeah we'll stay." After a good few hours the three of you made your way back to the House of Lamentation, and the first person your eyes made contact with was none other than the demon who said he wanted jerky: Satan. He averted his eyes from the book he was currently reading to you and the brothers behind you. "Why were you guys outside it's in the negative numbers, you guys could have serious frostbite go warm your hands up by the fireplace." Satan nodded towards a cozy fireplace to which Asmo and Levi gladly ran over to, you on the other hand brushed Satan's concern off as you grabbed the tied deer and made your way into the kitchen with it. Earning a curious look from the fourth born he quietly got up and followed you to the kitchen, "What exactly is that?" Grinning at your crush you spoke with pride, "You wanted to try deer jerky sooo I went out and killed a deer." Shaking his head he sighed, "So if I said I wanted the moon would you try to get that to?" Without thinking you nodded, "Damn right if you want something I'll get it for you." Satan shook his head as he let out a small chuckle, "You do know it's Christmas Eve right? You shouldn't put so much work on yourself." Shrugging your shoulders, you let out a sigh, "Its fine, besides it won't take me long for me to get done with this." You gestured to the deer while Satan nodded only patting your shoulder and going back to the living room leaving you to your work. After another few good hours, you finally walked out of the kitchen, but what you weren't expecting was to be met face to face with Satan. "You done in there now?" Giving him a small nod, he grabbed your wrist and without another word the two of you were placed in front of the fireplace with you in his arms. "I figured as much." Confused you looked at Satan as he spoke again, "You're colder than Asmo and Levi were why didn't you come here when you first walked in?" "I had to-" Cutting you off Satan spoke again, "Don't you dare use "work" as an excuse there's something you're not telling me isn't there?" Sighing you nodded, "Yeah you see... the thing is... I really love you Satan. I heard you saying you wanted to try deer jerky and I really wanted to make that happen for you. I-I don't care that it's Christmas Eve I wanted to fulfill your desire of trying deer jerky." By the time you quit speaking your face was a pretty shade of red as Satan only smiled at you and rubbed your fingers, "You're a really unique lady Y/N. Going out of your way to get whatever it is that I want. I got to say at first, I only saw you as a friend but, seeing the lengths you're willing to go to just for my happiness makes me really happy and well...damn it Y/N... I love you too." Smiling you nuzzled your head into the crook of Satan's neck, "I'm glad you do." Making the Demon of Wrath blush lightly he spoke gently, "I'm going to try some of your jerky stay here, ok?" Giving him a nod Satan left then reappeared with the jerky in hand. Taking a bite he smiled and gave you a wink, "It's really good Y/N, I'm impressed." Feeling your face burn you smiled, "Thank you Satan, I'm glad you like it so much." Satan took his place back beside you as he held your hands again, "I said you were unique Y/N, I meant that one hundred percent."
