Beelzebub x reader: Disappearance of the Turkey

"Just one bite?" "No." "Please Y/N." "It's not even cooked you can't eat a raw turkey." "It looks really tasty though." "If Lucifer finds out his turkey its gone he'll kill us both." It was Christmas morning and the second you got up Lucifer placed you on turkey duty, "Make sure Beel doesn't eat the turkey. If it isn't there when we eat dinner you'll both answer to me." Shuddering slightly as Lucifer's words entered your head you looked at Beel, "Go see if any of your brothers need help and leave me alone with the turkey." After a few minutes of him not wanting to budge you came up with an idea, "How about this? If you let me tend to the bird, I'll give you my piece of the turkey, ok?" Looking at the orange-haired male, he nodded, "Alright you mean it this time, right?" Giving you a suspicious look, you let out a forced laugh as you rubbed the back of your neck, "Yeah I promise I won't bribe you and not hold up my end like I did last time I swear." Beel nodded slowly as he walked out of the kitchen to go see if Belphie woke up yet. Putting your attention back on the turkey you picked up the pan it was in and set it in the oven. After you set the oven, you silently thanked Lucifer for doing the majority just leaving you with watching it cook. Glancing at the nearby clock you noted it was only a few minutes past eight, "Ok then I'll come back and check on the turkey again around one or one-thirty." Setting your alarm for one-thirty you went to your room to fall back asleep since eight was to early for you to be awake. You shut the door to your room as you laid on your bed and closed your eyes. Unknowingly to you after certain ears heard your door shut, he tip-toed his way to the kitchen to get a small bite of the turkey. 



Hearing your alarm go off you let out a groan as you sat upright, "Yeah yeah I know, gotta check the bird." Gathering the motivation to get out of bed you changed out of your pajamas and headed down the stairs. As you made your way into the kitchen you saw a certain orange-haired male and your heart stopped. "B-Beel don't tell me you-" Not able to finish your sentence Beel looked at you and waved the turkey bone at you, "Oh hey Y/N the turkey was really good!" Feeling like you were about to pass out you grabbed onto a nearby wall, "D-did you eat the e-entire thing?" Not realizing what you were going on about he nodded, "Yeah I was going to take a small bite heh." Trying to make the situation less serious he gave a small smile, "It'll be fine we just need to get another turkey." Not believing your ears you looked at Beel your shocked state turning into anger, "Get another turkey? Really? ITS NOT THAT EASY GETTING A TURKEY DURING CHRISTMAS EVERY STORE AROUND HERE IS CLOSED AND NOW LUCIFER IS GOING TO KILL US BOTH BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T RESIST SINKING YOUR TEETH INTO A GOD FORSAKEN BIRD!" Beel looked around before thinking, "We could blame in on Mammon." Shaking your head you let out a sigh, "As easy as that sounds, he wouldn't steal food much less do anything stupid during the holidays." Beel threw the bone into a trash can as he thought, "Well the dinner is in a few hours we have to come up with something." Pacing back and forth you finally came up with an idea, "I got it! All I need is a book from Satans' room." Beel looked at you confused, "You're going to present a book to Lucifer that's not going to make him happy." Shaking your head you kept talking, "I'm sure he has a book to summon things if I can summon another bird you can go to a nearby potion shop and get the biggest bottle of sleeping potions they have to offer, and by the time everyone wakes up no one'll remember a thing." Beel only shrugged, "I ate the bird so I'll see which shops are open." Giving one last look to Beel you made sure to add, "Just remember not a word of this to Lucifer." Giving you a nod Beel headed out the door as you headed to Satans' room."



After telling Satan everything that happened, he gave you the book you were looking for and sighed, "If he finds out you'll both be dead." Nodding as you took the book and made your way to the door you sighed, "That's why I need you to keep your mouth shut to Mammon and all the others." Satan only nodded as you left and made your way to the kitchen. Standing above the empty pan you flipped through the book until you found the page you were looking for, now not to brag or anything but you were halfway decent at casting spells so making a bird appear out of thin air wasn't a problem. The only problem was Beel still wasn't back. "Damn it if he doesn't come back with what I need he'll know it's not the bird he left me with and I'll be dead." Taking a deep breath you went ahead and casted the spell and watched a nearby identical bird appear on the tray. Hearing the door open you heard Beel's voice, "I'm back took me a while but I have it." Rushing to go see Beel you grabbed the potion and sighed, "About time what took so long?" Beel rubbed the back of his neck as he shrugged, "Most potion shops were closed but I finally found one." Grabbing the potion you headed back to the turkey to finish your job. Beel headed back to his and Belphies' room as he fiddled with something in his pocket. Walking into his room he pulled out a little heart shaped necklace and placed it in a box and wrapped it. "You think she's going to like it?" Beel looked over at Belphie as he shrugged, "How should I know you hang around her more than I, all I can say is if it's from you she'll like it." Beel nodded satisfied with Belphie's answer as he laid the wrapped box on the desk. "I hope you're right."

Dinner was a success all it took was one bite of the bird and the brothers were sleeping like babies, well all except for Beel, but when you looked at him, he seemed nervous? Letting curiosity get the better of you, you stood up and walked over to him, "Hey you alright? You seem a little off." Beel nodded as he turned to face you, "Yeah I'm fine I just have something to give you, but I-I don't know if you'll like it." Offering him a reassuring smile you placed a hand on his shoulder, "If it's from you I'll guarantee you I'll love it." Giving you a soft smile Beel pulled a small box out from his pocket and handed it to you, "In that case Merry Christmas Y/N." Taking the box you unwrapped it and opened the box revealing the heart shaped necklace within as you smiled, "Beel I love it I really do." Causing the Demon of Gluttony to blush lightly he smiled, "I'm glad you do. I-If you don't mind could I- maybe...um p-put it on you?" Not used to the male stuttering you nodded, "Of course." Standing in front of Beel he pulled the necklace out of the box and fastened it around your neck. "It looks really beautiful on you." Looking down to admire the necklace you nodded, "I'm glad you got it for me, I-I love you ya'know?" Causing him to blush lightly you only smiled knowing you caught Beel off guard, "You l-love me?" Nodding again causing your blush to match the shade of his perfectly, he smiled brightly, "I'm glad because I love you too Y/N."
