chapter twelve: the prank

Jerome's pov

"Adam is probably gonna kill us after we do this." I whispered as we tip-toed up the stairs. All the guys just looked at me and nodded with their evil smiles. We reached the top of the huge staircase and put all the pranking supplies on the ground. Mitch opened the door a crack and looked in to see if he was still asleep. He looked at us and nodded with an exited expression on his face. We picked the stuff up off of the floor and quietly walked into Adam's room. "Time for the fun to start." I whispered with an evil look on my face. I took out a blue sharpie and walked over to where Adam was sleeping. I had no clue what to draw on his that would piss him off. But then it hit me. I uncapped the marker and started drawing a huge squid on his forehead. When I finished my masterpiece I heard all the guys trying to hold in their laughs and not doing a great job. Jason walked over and wrote " I love squids!" underneath my squid. We all backed up a little bit to admire our work so far. But our job was not yet done. Me and Mitch grabbed two NERF guns and aimed for Adam's face. Jason and Tyler got out two bags of flour and opened them quietly. I heard Adam start to wake up and motioned for the guys to get ready for the ambush. Adam opened his eyes to see us standing there and they immediately widened. it was chaos. Flour sprinkled in the air making it almost hard to breath and darts flew all around the room. " I SURRENDER!!! STOP WITH THE FLUFFY WHITE STUFF!!!" Adam screamed through the midst of all of it. We all broke down laughing at what Adam said at that point and pretty much lost control of everything. Adam grabbed one of the NERF guns and shot each of us at least ten times each. We all eventually stood up and went downstairs. We all were sat down at the kitchen table and started eating breakfast. Tyler chuckled quietly and we all stared at him. " I'm just waiting for Adam to notice what we did to him..." Said Tyler with a Evil look but humored look on his face. "WHAT!?!?!?" Adam screamed at the top of his lungs. He rushed over to a mirror and his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his head. He looked over to us with an evil death glare. " I'M GOING TO KILL YOU GUYS!!!!!" he screamed. We all tried to run away but I got tackled and fell to the ground. " Go on without me!!!" I screamed as if I were dying. They all broke down laughing and before I could yell to them Adam tackled them and they fell to the ground, just like me. Adam got up and said " have you learned your lesson to never join the squids?" He pointed to his head and we all giggled a little bit. "Yes. But can I say one thing?" Jason asked. "Sure what is it?" Adam asked in response. "SQUIDLUMINATTI!!!!" he yelled and ran out the door with Adam chasing after him
