chapter twenty-one: H-help...

Mitch's pov

I woke up in a dimly lit room with my hands and feet tied up ,a gag in my mouth and . I tried to identify where I was but it was too dark to see anything. The door opened and let a sudden burst of light in the room, making me shut my eyes. "Why hello Mitchell, nice to see you again." said the mystery person. The girls voice sounded very ,VERY, familiar to me. Then it hit me... It was Maddie, my ex, may I repeat EX-girlfriend. As she walked up to me I saw that she was holding something behind her back. "Maddie, what's in your hands?" I asked shakily. "Oh this? hehe" She said while pulling a knife from behind her back. "It's just the weapon that will eventually kill you." She said with an evil grin plastered onto her face. She walked a little closer to me and sat on my lap. She leaned in to kiss me but instead, she plunged the knife into my chest, making me cough up blood. "That's for breaking my heart!" she screamed like she was going insane. She got off of me and stood there with that same evil look spread across her face. She turned around and put the now bloody knife deep into each of my legs. The pain was too much to bear and I screamed out in pain. "Just in case you somehow try to escape, that might make it a little harder." she said while walking out of the room and locking the door behind her. I stared at the ground in defeat, there was nothing else to do. Then I remembered the one thing that always makes me smile. Jerome. The love of my life. He was probably looking everywhere for me. Or he just forgot about me. The thoughts kept going through my head and eventually I felt the warm tears come streaming down my face. "H-help..." I whispered.

Jerome's pov (One day later

Me and the guys pulled into her drive way and got out of the car. We had picked up Seto on the way there so he could help us if we got into trouble. We walked up to the door and Ty immediately knocked down the door to get in. We all rushed in and were greeted by the one and only, Maddie. "Well how nice of you to show up. But your a little late." She said with an innocent look on her face. "You know what! If I find out that you hurt him, You'll be dead in seconds!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Well then, I should be dead by now. He's already gone!" She said while laughing like a maniac. All my anger had been boiling up inside me for far too long and it was time for me to let it out. "Hey Seto, would you like to help me?" I said with an evil look spread across my face. " My pleasure!" He said as his hands started to glow purple and form fire balls (Hehe balls, im so immature XD). She started to back up with her hands up, but she still had this smirk on her face. " A sorcerer huh? Well, I can play that game too..." She said. All of a sudden, her eyes turned red and she had black energy growing in her hands. Seto threw a fireball at her but she easily dodged it. She charged at him and they fought it out. "GO GET MITCH!!!" Seto yelled whilst still fighting Maddie. I nodded and we all ran down the hall. There were a ton of doors but there was one that looked very suspicious. I walked up to it and pushed on it just to find it locked. "Hang on, I got this." Ty said while walking up to the door. He took a paperclip out of his pocket and jiggled it in the door knob until we all heard a click. "Where'd you learn to do that?" I asked. "I don't know, I just always used it to get into Adam's roo- I mean to get into the house when it was locked... Hehe ( I'M SORRY! I HAD TO DO IT!!! XD). " Ty said with a blush growing into his face. I pushed open the door slowly and saw something I never hoped to see. Mitch sat there helpless and bloody. I ran to him with tears streaming down my face and noticed that he was asleep. I untied his hands and legs and his limp body fell on me. I picked him up and held him close to me. I felt him move in my arms and looked down at him. His eyes fluttered open half way and looked up at me with slight smile. I smiled back at him with tears in my eyes. Mitch's smile faded away slowly and his eyes began to close. "H-help...." He said then passed out. His chest was bleeding badly and it was a dire situation of life and death. We were all running to the exit and we saw Seto standing over Maddie bleeding on the ground. "Let's go, Mitch needs help FAST!" I said with worry creeping into my voice. We all got back in the car with Adam driving. Me, Seto, And Ty were all in the back with Mitch spread across all three of us. He was bleeding badly and we were covered in Mitch's blood. Say goodbye to this shirt. But I didn't really care, all I really cared about was Mitch and keeping him alive.
