chapter thirty: #Kitten Mitch

 Mitch's pov

I awoke to the sound of my Skype going off. I quickly got out of bed, waking up Jerome in the process, and saw that Seto was calling me. Wonder what he wants. I answered the call as Jerome came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Hey guys!" Said Seto. "Hi Seto, what's going on" I asked, a little confused to why he called us. "Well nothing much, I just wanted to show you something cool about you being a kitten hybrid now!" He said, sounding excited. "Yeah, wonder who that person was who turned me into a kitten hybrid..." I said in a sarcastic tone. "ok, ok I'm sorry about turning you into a kitten hybrid. Now can I please show you the cool thing!" he asked. I sighed and nodded my head. "YAY!! Ok, now clear your mind of everything except being a kitten. Just focus on that and something amazing will happen!" He said in a cheer tone. I did as told and closed my eyes and cleared my mind except being a cat. I felt a tingly feeling go through my body but thought nothing of it. Everything around me seemed to get louder as I went on. I opened my eyes and noticed that everything around me had gotten bigger, oh no... Am I... AM I A CAT?!??! I looked down at my hands which were now paws. I looked up at Jerome who looked like he was going to pass out. I trotted my way over to his legs and put my two front paws against them, so I was standing on my hind legs. I tried to speak but it came out as a quiet 'mew'. Jerome kneeled down and started petting me. It felt so weird but I ended up purring. Jerome giggled at my actions and picked me up. When he stood up fully, I looked down to the floor from his arms but quickly cowered back into his chest. I was so high up! He's like a freaking giant when I'm in this form! I looked into Jerome's dark chocolate brown eyes while he looked into my tiny caramel colored ones. I ended up totally zoning out just by playing with some strands of fur on his hands. He chuckled at me and put me down on the desk.  "Hmmm, I wonder..." Jerome said while reaching his hand into his pocket. He pulled out a piece of string. My eyes couldn't seem to look away from the string. I walked to the string hanging from his hand slowly. I crouched down, getting ready to pounce for it. I squinted my eyes, aiming for where to jump. Jerome still hadn't noticed me ( NOTICE ME SENPAI) so I took my chance. I jumped at the string which was hanging off of the desk and grabbed it in my mouth. but the desk wasn't there to catch me. Uh oh. Jerome finally noticed me just as I was falling. The next thing I knew was that I was on the ground, not hurt at all. Jerome broke out laughing and said, "I guess it's true that cats always land on their feet!". I glared at him while he was laughing at me. I rolled my eyes in defeat and jumped up on his lap. I layed down and curled up in his lap, falling asleep quickly. (Did I say that Seto hung up after telling Mitch how to change back? No? Well that sucks...)
