Chapter 28

My eyes slowly started to open, finding myself in Hyunjin's room, with his arms still embracing me.

Hyunjin hummed behind me; we had fallen asleep.

We had woken up due to sounds of a door opening.

"Hyunjin? You're still here?" Hyunjin's mom shouted from outside the room. "I'm back"

Hyunjin jumped from the bed, speaking hoarsely "Yes mom, hi"

I quickly got up as well, realizing the situation we were in.

"Did I wake you up? Sorry" She yelled back. "And Yeonsu? Why was she here?"

I fixed my clothes and combed my hair with my fingers.

"Oh- she just wanted to talk to me" Hyunjin yelled back, making a motion with his hand towards me, telling me to speak.

I cleared my throat before speaking "Hi Mrs. Hwang, i'm still here"

"Oh" She responded, clearly surprised.

Hyunjin and I walked to the door, just after I had looked myself in the mirror, making sure I wasn't... messy...

We exchanged reassuring looks, letting each other know we were okay with what was about to happen and he opened the door.

Hyunjin's mom was taking off her shoes, lifting her head to look at us "Hi babies, what's up?"

She looked excited. She knows.

"Mom" he started saying, but his mom interrupted him.

"Did you tell her?" She smiled expectant.

I furrowed my eyebrows "Tell me what?"

Hyunjin giggled "Actually, she told me"

Mrs. Hwang gasped, with a huge smile "So, you're back together?"

"We are actually" the words came out of my mouth faster than anything, literally.

She gasped, louder this time "Oh my God, I knew it!"

"You love her more than you love me, right?" Hyunjin rolled his eyes.

Mrs. Hwang chuckled, walking towards me "Oh, shush. Come here Yeonsu". She hugged me, moving one of her hands up and down my back "I don't mean to be selfish but i'm so happy you realized Hyunjin loves you so purely"

"I know mrs. Hwang, I know" I said as I looked at Hyunjin.

"He had just told me how confused he was, and how he planned to ask you seriously about how you felt about him" she separated from the hug, sitting on the couch.

"Yeah. Well, to be honest, I did confuse him. That's why I needed to talk to him, to tell him that I missed him and that I wanted to be with him" I responded.

"You guys are the embodiment of 'right person, wrong time', aren't you?" she said, so sweetly.

Hyunjin and I looked at each other, nodding with a smile plastered on both of our faces.

We are, aren't we?

"We are, but I believe it's our right time now as well" Hyunjin replied.

Hyunjin's mom cringed a little "You are so cheesy Hyunjin, respect her a little"

We all laughed loud, Hyunjin feeling a little bit disrespected, in a joking way.

"Yeah, don't you think this makes me embarrassed? I'm glad no one else heard it" I joked, still laughing.

Hyunjin almost howled, getting close to me to grab me by the waist.

"Oh," mrs. Hwang exclaimed "I need to tell your dad".
