We soon got to the building, sitting on the cafeteria of the company.
"Ohhhh, this is so good" I said eating a piece of the dessert.
"Yeah" Hyunjin replied with a full mouth.
"I had forgotten how good this was. The coffee too"
"Yeah, the americano is great" He said taking a sip.
"You used to sing that americano song all the time" I laughed.
"I love americano, you know that" He said. "Oh-" he yelled, I think he remembered something he wants to say. "before I forget, I need to ask you something"
"I'm scared" I joked. I noticed it wasn't something hardcore, since he was happy.
"What do you think of my hair?" He showed it off to me, moving his head side to side.
I love it, I fucking love it.
It's his best hair ever, long and black... gorgeous... beautiful...
"It's- it's nice" I said, downplaying it.
"I remember you loved Thor's hair, you would always say he looked so hot, so I decided to grow it" He said so naturally.
I started to cough, my latte went the wrong way on my throat.
"Shut up" I said between coughs.
"I'm not lying, I grew it because of you, because I wanted you to notice me" He looked at me closer, searching for an emotion or something I might do.
I decided to lie shamelessly, I can't just bring his hopes up. "I liked it better short" I said in a serious tone, taking another sip of my coffee and continuing eating.
He stared at me blankly, analyzing my face, my emotions and my gestures, but I stayed determined.
I stayed with a cold look, eating and drinking peacefully.
He decided to stop searching for an answer and he continued eating.
"So, why are you so bold lately?" I asked.
"What do you mean? I've always been like this" He replied.
"But we haven't talked to each other for 3 whole years, why are you suddenly asking me to be your friend and saying all this degenerate things?"
He laughed loudly, covering his mouth and throwing his head back "Degenerate? What are you talking about?"
"You heard me," I laughed too "degenerate"
"You're acting like i'm a pervert, what are you saying?" He laughed again, his stupid laugh. He's so stupid...
"If the shoe fits, wear it..." I said jokingly.
He laughed louder, covering his mouth. The stupid sound of his laugh...

"What about your grandma?" I asked, finishing the last piece of cheesecake.
"She's good, she got sick again last year, but she's fine now" He smiled a little.
"I'm sorry, i'm glad she's feeling better"
"And your grandparents? How have they been?"
"They've been great actually. My grandpa just got his stomach surgery 6 months ago, the one he had been postponing for so long"
"No way, just now?"
I nodded "You know him, as stubborn as always"
"Just like you" He chuckled looking at me with heart eyes.
This look he makes to me just kills me...
I looked down "And how's your mom? I can't believe I haven't asked you about her"
"She's great," he smiled "still the same as always. The other day she actually asked me about you"
"Really?" I smiled "What did she say?"
"The same thing she always says..." He saw my confused look and answered my doubts. "Once in a while she tends to ask about you, if i've seen you or if i've talked to you. She says she misses you and that you were like her daughter"
I looked down, sad of what I was hearing. "Tell her that i'm great and having fun, she used to be so worried I wasn't enjoying my life back then when I was training. Also tell her that I miss her a lot"
"I will" He smiled softly. "She keeps defending you" he chuckled.
"Me? Why defending me?"
He stuttered "I- I used to say you were the worst for breaking up with me but she always defended you. She said it was the best for us"
I thought about it for a second before answering "I understand why you hated me... but I do think it's the best"
He laughed "It's weird... I hated you but I loved you. I used to say the worst things about you, just because you broke up with me... because I wanted you back soooo bad" he laughed awkwardly, remembering his pathetic era.
He sighed before continuing "I really, really loved you"
