Enid's POV-

It was Wednesday's writing hour. She sat there at her typewriter, typing away.

"Babe?" I asked quietly.

"Hmm?" Wednesday replied, not looking away from her writing.

"Can you come cuddle with meee?" I begged.

"Darling, you know I dedicate one hour to my novel. I can cuddle with you in just 27 more minutes." She replied.

"But I can't wait that long! I'm cold and want to be close to you!" I exclaimed.

"It's just 27 minutes, dear." She said.

I sighed and stood up. I walked over to her and crawled into her lap. I tucked my face into the crook of her neck and wrapped my arms over her shoulders.

"There that's better." I said into her neck.

"You'd rather be this uncomfortable than wait 27 minutes?" She asked.

"I'm not uncomfortable. This is actually really cozy and nice." I replied.

Wednesday sighed. She carefully stood up. I wrapped my legs around her waist and she supported my legs. She carried me over to our bed and laid me down.

"Since you just can't wait..." she muttered as she crawled into bed next to me.

I instantly curled up into her, resting my head on her chest and wrapping my arms around her waist.

"See, isn't this better than writing?" I asked.

"... Maybe just a little..."
